I lost the DNA sample, my wreck is gone. How do I recover the mission?

If the DNA wasn't item specific (you can find out by looking in the journal under accepted missions) you could replace it from the market.

You might not have any other options for this mission then.
When you are offered a mission you can find out if it goes through dangerous security levels by clicking the more details link in your offer.
It will tell you where the start and end destinations are and you can decide whether it's too risky or dangerous to accept.

I'm guessing the mission was to retreive the dna safely. You couldnt do that, therefore you failed the mission.
