On a more serious note, ergonomic keyboards, mice or trackballs, proper posture, monitor height and a range of other avenues must be looked at to prevent health issues related to multiple hours spent in front of the computer. If you feel pain while playing or surfing the net, ask your doctor about it.
That answer go through the lawyers? cant recomend anything officially? AND just recently i heard that having your back straight can actually be worse then slouching a bit since slouching actually is a straighter back then a 90 degree angle.

Ctrl for locking? Typing for chat? Ctrl-Tab for screens, fraps and alignment? PTT for Vent? Glass of wine? My left hand gets used all the time. My feet tap as well, especially in combat. Eve is a whole-body experience.

For a simpler suggestion, you could simply set up your keyboard closer to the edge of your desk, so that your forearms and elbows are in mid-air.
Alternatively you could realise that you have a medical condition that requires lifestyle alterations and not play Eve so much :) ************************************************

That's about the absolute worst thing you can do.
My right hand didn't go numb because I wasn't comfortable, on the contrary, it went numb because resting my elbow on the armwrest of my chair was in fact very much comfortable.
Good posture, in all its forms, is rarely comfortable.

How about some exercise? Buy a tennis ball and keep your hand muscles in shape. Costs nothing and helps a lot. Also remember to stretch your upper body completely every now and then. Mining is great time for stretching :) |
