A T2 fitted Hulk mining Bistot in 0.0 can make anywhere from about 75mil, to 100mil per hour mining, so it all depends on your skills and where you mine at.

Hi sec mining will not pull anything in greater than about 10 mill an hour even with a fully upgraded Hulk. --------------

Cause you asked for numbers, with two tech I strip miners on a retriever, barge 3, mining 5, astrogeology 5, and paying 5% tax for refine I make just over 4mil/hour on scordite, pyrox paying slightly more but not being in the area. Omber and Kernite actually pay less these days when I run things through eve-meep.

As it all depends on your skills like:
Astrogeology / Mining / Mining Barge / mining drones
And the use of which drones / T1 or T2 strip miners and or crystals its almost impossible to calculate how much you can mine.
Especially cause you have to haul the ore also. Depending on if you have a second account (or corp member/friend) that does the hauling.
In the usefull links there are a few spreadsheets that can calculate how much you can mine per cycle (just do it times 20 for an hour).
Me being a pessimist is a win-win situation: Either i am right .. or its even better then i said. |

High sec ores yield around 3 to 7 mil / hour in covertor with max skills. Depending on local mineral prices, if you mine in retriver take some 20 to 30% off from that figure. Altho granted, I have not mined for a while but my general impression is still that you will get approx the same isk rewards on L3 missions (plus LP) than mining in high sec.

I suggest lvl4's .. Simple reason is that you need to be rather strong for 0.0 to survive .. being able to do lvl4's would enable you that.

0.0 space is slightly easier skillwise for characters than lev 4 missions. I would suggest however to skill up for them even if you plan to live mostly in 0.0 - you never know when ride gets rough and you wake up somewhere in empire with all your assets loced up somewhere deep in 0.0. In that case ability to run lev 4 missions gives you at least some income. Granted lower end 0.0 is considerably more profitable than lev 4 missions in high sec. Running them in 0.0 is more or less equal to NPC hunting in good true sec system. Depending on your skills ofcource.
