Ctrl-F = FPS display Ctrl-F9 = Hide UI toggle (far superior to Ctrl-Tab since you don't have to let go of Ctrl first) Ctrl-Shift-Alt-F12 = toggle sound Ctrl-F11 = Scanprobe/Directional Scanner display F10 = Map /me = chat emote, also /emote Ctrl-Space = Stop Ship
Not all are "hidden" but some are "little known". -- Lil Miner Newbie Skills Roadmap | How to Build from a BPO |

Actually none are hidden, CCP has simply not put the information anywhere.
Sadly this is a common theme for EvE and one of the things I would like to see properly documented.

Actually won't alt-f4 just activate your 4th medium power slot? unlike almost every other program where its a kill command.
Control + Space is useful, sometimes when you can't click yourself to bring up the damn stop command
Control + R: Reload all guns/bays
Control+Alt+Shift+f12: sound on/off is also quite useful

one of the little-known ones is ctrl+alt. this brings up a zoom window that you can use to zoom in on a small section of screen.

Get a G15 keyboard! 1 button is far better than 4!!

Is there a file/link that lists the keyboard shortcuts?

This is pretty strange. Every game usually gives you a list of default keyboard commands in the documentation or a way to print out current config. Here you get nothing. Make your own best guess and take a pen and write down whatever is known.
And default config it simple plain stupid. How are you going to do Alt+Ctrl+Shift+F8 or something with your left hand while keeping your right hand on the mouse? And in general F keys are never a good choice. Shooter game designers figured it out. CCP guys seems never played EVE themselves to make such a crazy setup.
Unfortunately times of really good game designers are gone. Marketeers took over, so don't expect anything really good, unless it gives them a boost in profits.

Press "Esc" go to "Shortcuts" tab.
There's your list, and some more that you can set that aren't in there by default.

In ideal situation most of the functions should be invoked with single keys using one hand without changing position of the hand. Like 12345, qwert, asdfg, and zxcvb for right handed and mirrow image keys on the right side of the keyboard for left handed. And there should be no need to use ALT, CTRL or shift in most cases.
