Either the person, who lost his ship and comes back to grab his can or if it was a pvp-kill, the guys, who made the kill and want to collect the loot can they 'rightfully' earned. Expect to get flamed ... and maybe get killed due to can flagging. CTD/con-loss vs. log-out. A proposal for a fix.

Cammulos Magnetar Ltd	Posted - 2007.01.10 04:56:00 - [8] Tormentor w/Amarr Frig 5 for the Cargohold bonus and 3 Inertia Stabilizers. Its a nice instawarp, just do an initial warp at 100km, then BM the wrecks, then warp to one, loot, warp out, on to the next. I do it all the time when I hear about war fleets meeting. Its quite profitable.

Whilst you get flagged for taking stuff out of a wreck, you don't get flagged for salvaging it. So if you find an empty wreck in empire noone can stop you. What I do the rest of the time - Vote for a Jita bypass!

If you are low on money, then u could consider it a valuable tactic but once u get past a few millions its pretty much a waste of time. Most wrecks will be looted anyway by the time you find them.

Even better is being able to wander off slowly whistling while cloaked in front of said nasty person. Sneaking up on Ginger Magician cloaked and having him whine about the unfair tactics has got to be the best. Collecting his loot has got to be even better - as a taunt to make his whine finer. Anyone collecting Privateer Alliance loot and then talking about it has to be COMPLETELY INSANE!!!
