Check your wallet, journal tab and "load". You can see who gave it to you.
Decide what you want to do from there. (convo and thank them, laugh at them etc...)

Skillbooks, ships / modules, maybe even implants. Depends on what you want to do and how dangerous a lifestyle you plan on leading. :)

It did actually,
Although what are the chances of someone transfering 5mill ISK into a one day old characters account accidentally? Small huh? Hence my first reaction was to "thank"

whoa whoa whoa...
let's take this one part at a time... I understand the individual words "give", "it", and "back", but when you put them all together like that it's just gibberish... you can't just go around making up phrases like that

Best thing to do with new found wealth, just keep playing the game as if you didn't have it. Keep buying only the things you needed to buy and would have done anyway.
Pretty soon you'll realise that it's all gone :) ************************************************

Probably the skillbooks for your race's cruiser, and some skills books that you dont have - I'd try and get all the ones that are under 100k to be honest - get a top of the line frigate (they cost about 200-300k), fit it with nice stuff and go do what you like - mining, missions, killing npcs etc :) --
Yeah, so Caldari suck at close range. Pity you'll never get there.

Well I saw this post very late last night. Back when I started eve all those many moons ago a friend helped me start up in game with some isk and advice.
I now try and repeat this with people I sense are really new to the game and only ask that they do the same when they are in a position to do so.
In answer to what you should do next.......
Skills, skills and even more skills. Your learning skills are one of the most important things right now. Slightly improve your current frigate and rocket skills till you can fly a kestral.
Then start to run some lvl 1 missions. Remember to collect all the loot. When your skills are improved or you join a corp get them to refine the trash for you. All the while improving your learning skills. Aim to get the Rank 1 skills to level 4. This will give you a decent platform to move forward.
After that aim for a cruiser and lvl 2 missions. Something like a Carcal.
Anyways enough rambling for now good luck on your new adventure. In a way I envy you, getting to see it all anew.

Exactly what i do in SAK - when i started 3 short months ago someone helped me out with the "pay it forward attitude" it might be seen as a carebear attitude but i think its a good way of getting new players into the thick of it sooner rather than later
kudos to you sir ;-)

I'd have done it slightly differently - I'd get my learning skills all to level 2 - then go for a destroyer - it makes level 1 missions a heck of a lot quicker due to the 7 or 8 guns you can fit on them. You can do level 2 missions with them too.
Once you have the destroyer get each learning skill up to level 3 (I think these take about 12 hours each) by leaving 1 training over night or whilst you're at school/work.
When they're all at level 3, get your basic skills all up to at least level 2 - engineering, navigation, electronics, industry, science, drones etc.
At this point you can probably attempt level 2 missions and whilst you're running those, only then go to level 4 on the learning skills. Once each learning skill goes to level 4, train the advanced learning for that skill to level 1. Assuming you're not entering low security or going to pvp, you could also buy some +1 or +2 implants at this point. Then after a month or so, you can train advanced learning to level 2 or 3, then the standard learnings to level 5, then the advanced learning to lvel 4 after about 6 months.
Concentrating on just the learning skills all to level 3 or 4 straight away is really, REALLY boring and to be honest, yeah after 2 or 3months it might save you a week of time but I think the trade off is worth it. --
