Harbinger or Prophecy, which would be better for level 3 missions? I thank you for your time, setups are useful as well to support your recommendation.

Prophecy, IMHO. Missions are more about tanking than ganking, so the good ol' Proph is very good at level 3s. The Harbinger can be better in some situations, though.

I agree, it's a lot safer and easier to do missions in my trusty ol' Phat Eagle. It might be affected by my mediocer BC skill, i'll raise and compare them again, but if your skill is <= 3 then definatly Proph is the better choice.

The prophecy may have higher resists, but I've yet to find a way to forever run dual MAR II on a proph. Not to mention the harby has a larger drone bay so it offers more variable damage (real prize on an amarr ship).
Mostly a matter of taste. I much prefer the harby for the above reasons. Plus it looks better, and I just love ships with laser DPS bonuses.

If you have decent tanking skills the Harbinger can comfortably tank all level 3's, and it'll kill stuff a lot faster, so if you're doing missions for isk it's a lot more efficient. If you're doing em for fun, use a Punisher.

As you can see only the lack of resists plus the lack of a missle slot are the only things the Harbinger lacks compared to the Prophecy. Everything else is either the same or better.
I piloted the Prophecy since my charecter was five days old - And for the past 3 weeks the Harbinger - and I have to say I'll take the Harbinger over the Prophecy any day. The increase in DPS + the extra slots more than make up for any lack of resist IMO. Sure, I'll take more damage - but I also have an extra mid slot for a cap recharger + booster.
Not to mention the Harbinger is one of the best looking ships in the game. Fits the Amarr design perfectly. Looks like a demented å built for war.
If you can afford the Harbinger, hands down it's better. The only thing the Prophecy has over the Harbinger is resists... And maybe a missle slot, depending on your play style... I for one, hate having missle slots on ships because I have superb gunnery skills for my lasers, and if I really needed a certain DPS, I'd just equip some projectiles .
