What is the highest ammount of damage a large Blaster can do at optimum range, and which Blaster is it. Just wanted an idea of what damage it could do given the right circumstances. Thanks

well my neutron blaster cannon II with void and on 5 km range can easy wreck ~ 1500 dmg

Is this without any weapon mods, accuracy etc? Or generally at that range do you not have any trouble hitting anyway?

With very high skills (all damage skills and other related skills at L5) and faction damage mods (two shadow serp mag stabs for instance) and a few expensive implants (+5% to all turret damage etc.) you can get upwards of a 10.0 damage mod on Large Neutron IIs with Void.
Counting on wrecking shots is just stupid. I'd say I average about 350-500 damage per hit. With eight guns, that's quite a bit of damage per volley. Also note that the guns have a ROF of around 4.6 seconds or so with a similar setup and maxed skills, which is extremely important in the overall scheme of things.
All that being said, it still isn't going to be effective against most heavily tanked BSs, as they'll generally be able to tank you solo until you run out of cap, then you're dead.
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer. |

Well, with my 3 Shadow Serpentis Magnetic Field Stabilisers, I get a damage mod of 14.72 on my Heavy Neutron Blasters II fitted on my rusty old Deimos. Works nice for 0.0 Serpentis hunting.

That's a strange comment to make
I don't think many bs no matter how heavy the tank can tank a gank t2 neutron blaster setup. and u can still capm inject with those setups. but tbh they only only really effective in small groups

Ive had wrecks of about 1870 with a T2 neutron with 3 damage mods, i guess you could probably get about 2k with better mods and damage implants |

Even using 7 ion and 2 dmg mods, I havent had anyone tank me.... well there was one raven but he ran outta cap really fast.
