- to introduce permanent death to characters and accelerate learning by 10x times (it does not have to be the death of the character but maybe just wiping all skills up to the newbie level 800k SP) 
then if someone makes a bad reputation of himself (a pirate, scammer or something) you actually have the incentive to hunt him down and take your revenge :) 
Would be interesting to see it on alliance scale :) You wanna kill BoB ? Send an spec-ops team deep inside their territory and try to assasinate the arch-BoB, which makes him lose the alliance skills, corp skills etc ... Go for their leaders and commanders and throw them in chaos, reduce their T2 fleets to noob frigs . Until a new leader is born of course ...
imagine the possibilities ... 
ps: this is not a BoB thread, nor a Tech2 whine thread 
im so full of ideas 
but i know i should be working now

I can't see very many people going for this and it will more than likely make people stay in high-sec areas even more than now, but it is an interesting idea. Maybe a slightly softer option, say remove normal clones. As I understand it if you don't have an upgraded clone you lose points in one major skill, which is still pretty nasty.

I want the ability to choose not to have a clone at all, for RP reasons.
None of this basic clone nonesense, if I get pod killed, I want the character immediately terminated with all remaining assets going to a next of kin, preferably the next character I make so I can decide what happens to it all. ---------------------------------------- Proposed new ship class |

Death comes too easily in New Eden. Pod pilots need to be immortal. I guess you could introduce a way to test skills without keeping them forever. How about this:
New Implants: Neural Supplement Alpha through Epsilon + Omega
Each implant in the supplement set increases the attribute associated with that slot by 1 point. The omega implant disables normal learning, is itself able to store up to five million skillpoints, and magnifies the effect of other implants in the set by 10000%.
So if you've got the full set you get 100 points in all five attributes, but can only learn 5 million more skillpoints worth of skills at that rate. Also, when you get podded, you go back to what you had before you plugged in the Omega. You can't gain skills normally while these implants are active.
If you clone jump out of the Supplemented clone, the Omega is cleared, but you regain your normal ability to learn skills, and then when you jump back you start from your current level.
That's as far as I'd be interested in taking it.
