(I don't know if this goes here)
So, most of us should know of what went down in C-J6MT (evenews24 - Battle of C-J6MT if you didn't hear) and we've all heard of B-R5RB. But I'd like to know what is the biggest battle you ever fought. Might it be in Highsec vs. rats (which is sad but OK...) Fleet fights in lowsec or pure destruction in null. Just give me the biggest battle you ever fought other than B-R5RB.
example post: My biggest battle was in C-J6MT, it was RMC vs. DRF/PL. It was in November 2015, I was a shield cruiser and DRF won
We're doing this for half knowledge, half nullsec propaganda :P |

6-800? Maybe more? I think Provi Bloc + PL + NC. + Brave was one of them, Low Sec riff-raff + PL was another.
It isn't too relevant past about 300 total. You lose the lottery and are alphaed off or you make your 0.001% contribution to keeping a capital alive or killing something. (The most exhilarating PVP was still 10-15 vs 10-15 fights between two newbie corps in High Sec but that might have been because I was new and not as jaded as I am.)

There are other ways to fix Null Sec stagnation and Fozzie SOV is the wrong approach.

If you want to experience a bit of what goes on just turn up for a SISI mass test. There is always a bit of a crazy bun fight near the end with a few hundred ships and caps in a blob bashing it out.
There is obviously no doctrines or fleet discipline and its sorta of every man for himself but if your a newish player it might be your only chance to see a batch of caps in one place. |

PNQY-Y. It predated time dilation, so you had to ungroup your guns to reliably get anything to cycle, and by reliably I mean they might go off once every 10 minutes. Also, supers had 20 fibos back then, so as soon as supers hit the field and dropped drones, everything came to a stand still. |

I WAS THERE!
Lasting over a year, Yulai (end of slides) had thousands of players with an instantaneous involvement more than R-B's entire fight. Most importantly, it was damned good fun and people didn't care if they lost ships.
You can keep your F1 blobs
The original Sansha Invasions. Still the greatest event in the history of eve. Just fleet up, fight hard, blow up and not care. It was fun. The video, Deltole VI was by far the best fight I ever had. Just utter insanity and all had good times.

When I was a brand new player, on my very first character, I joined a Spectre Fleet roam with my then corp. There was TiDi - but it was so long ago I really don't remember anything about it. But it was definitely in the triple digits. I did lose this coming back from the battle. I was a noob. https://zkillboard.com/kill/46525369/ |

I quit 0.0 alliances before it got silly. My biggest was with INIT fighting around R-6 (helping RA of all people) and I was with them, an earlier form, fighting around V7-mid. And before that I was in ISS when the whole IAC crap happened (which pretty much started off something fierce).
I'm happy to say that I'm quite inexperienced when it comes to massive battles. |

1500+ in local during the Titan Smash event in Ishomilken, Jan 4th 2015
230 man pirate voltron vs 700 spectre fleet vs 500 odd randoms including goons, CO2 and a bunch of others.
Voltron held the field and there was much whining, mostly from self entitled shitweasels who werent even there. Also Bobmon and IWANTISK were colossal dicks to the organiser and still have yet to apologise for it.

Went something like this.....
landed in pocket, pulled full pocket aggression, sat in my deadspace golem and all of a sudden alarms are blaring, im down to 97% health, i panic i try to remember what to do in these situations, interminable time seems pass. I recheck my health it has dropped to 96%, im panicking and just cant think straight.
I feel the oppressive hand of death on my shoulder. In my dispair my head sags, this is it, this is my final flight into the depths of space....
As my head sags I notice that i have painted one of my piloting keys red, why would i do that, what mysterious purpose could this red button hold?
Could this ship be equipped with some kind of ejection pod, im elated at the thought that perhaps i might just live!
I tentatively push the shiny red button but it is stuck, probably rusted from lack of use. I push the button harder but nothing happens; still jammed. I slam my fist down on that red button, did it move, just a little or was that my imagination giving me false hope?
I clasp both hands into one fist above my head and take one last check on my ships health.....good God, 93% !
This is it, my final card to play. I muster all my strength and smash my hands hard down onto the red button and miraculously it moves. In an instant the blaring sirens stop. Im not sure what has happened i check my shield health, 100% !!!
I vow to never tell the rest of the crew just how close to death we came that day. As for myself im a regular at the local PTSD clinic both by orders of my superiors and by my own need.
Yawn,-á I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

Anyone remember the eve-bet revenant event? A bunch of us went down the whoure on the km (lol, I know right) but we spotted a contracted wartarget there, Anyway Feyd decided to type in local "**** is primary" to see if anyone would shoot at it and was almost instantly volleyed so hard his teeth flew out the back of his pod, it was hilarious.
Better the Devil you know.

Not really a battle...
But it was funny when some guy started mouthing off at Eve Radio - not sure if that is still a thing - and they called him out, gave his location etc.... five hundred or more people turned up to see if he would come out of the station (there was a prize for killing him (but not podding) but I can't remember what - I don't even think there was plex and stuff in those days - it may have just been a mention the radio) or issue an apology in local for his criticism of the music... it was rather like being in Jita with the amount of pickpocketing and scamming going on
I can't recall if he came out.. and eventually we all got bored and went and did other things.... but it was highly entertaining on a Sunday evening
I remember having a row with a corp-mate who was the very definition of a noob - who managed to get himself blown up three times in the crowd - one of the occasions was for 'stealing' a single antimatter bullet that someone had jettisoned. The guy was incapable of understanding anything about the game - beyond, in his opinion 'if it moves, shoot it' - he was kicked out of the corp shortly afterwards |
