Everything have taken place on sisi server.Was testing setups for a brutix and found this guy. 1v1'ed him on bf1 my brutix vs his mega, we both could use t2 guns, almost got him. He said that it was a ****ty setup, i believed him. Then he said ...

The fight began. Starting range 10km. So i run everything at him, including the forbidden weapon. Was supprised. Got nice hits on armor (with t1 guns and ammo), but it slowly decreased, while my new friend couldn't hit a thing ... I thought that large blasters + void + tracking disruptor did the job well. He kept his range at 7km, ok it was his optimal. In the end of the fight McGin said some words to me ... that i shall never forget!

I was shocked! He left convo ... I was so wrong, in my entire eve life, minmatar are not supposed to have any chance in close range 1v1 ! It doesn't matter that they get owned at close range. They simple can't use advantage of someone's weakness ... My guru, my mentor! Thank you for giving me such knowledge! And thank you for a nice mega setup, after the fight i examined his setup ... which astonished me even more!

what the **** is this post about really?
you did some fight on sisi and used ecm, wow, grats...
what im really wondering is how the hell you figured out this was postworthy, thats like i should post every single ****talk ive ever recived while fighting with a long post about how i fly minmatar attached to it.

Even CCP ranks them as ECM. Look in the market. All Tracking Disruptors are found under the Electronic Warfare market tab. Even ECCM is Electronic Warfare

whats the point of a 1 vs 1 on a test server if one guys so scared he fits a rack of disruptors
lame post of the day, but coming from the royal hilgarians, guess its par for the course.

totally wrong.
tracking disruptors are electronic warfare yes, otherwise known as ewar or EW not ecm. ecm are electronic counter measures which are jammers and only jammers. just wrong term used that's all.

yes. what's ur point exactly?
jammers(ecm), tracking disruptors, eccm, warp disruptors etc are all ewar (electonic warfare). but that doesn't mean that tracking disruptors are ecm. theya re 2 different things

I'm guessing the dual rep means dual web. You were both fitted for each other, so it was a lame fight to begin with! He didn't fit mwd, and all plates, you fitted with a tracking disruptor and a heavy tank. This by no means constitutes a real situation, how was he upposed to get in range, how were you going to keep him in place?

Flames were nice reading too.
To the OP; good job m8, some of the SISI warriors have some weird rules about 1;1's.
They care more about the lossmail showing in the Concord category than about the true goal of SISI, and that is to test setups.
I remember the last guy i tested a setup with, his ideea of a 1;1 was to fit a Myrmidon with full med nos in highs, 4x cap rechargers II and 1 large cap battery in mids, and 3 MAR II in the lows. Definitely a winner setup in TQ for solo work.
PS: Flamers, there was no agreement for ECM not to be used.

From when 1 tracking disruptor means rack of 'em ? That's first thing. And plz, tell that to amarr recon pilots, they'll just flame you, which you were doing now to my corp ... you don't know anything about my corp so f*** off. The meaning of a post was that McGin called me a noob for using 1 tracking disruptor and he, himself was using his "best" mega setup fitting 4x 1600 plates, full dmg, only void ammo, even without mwd! Even knowing he'd go vs minmatar.
And sorry, it was a typo, i wanted to write dual web instead of dual rep.

i have to say that fitting tracking disruptors instead of a multispec since kali is very common, surprising on a shield tank but meh.
imo fitting specifically for a 1v1 is kinda lame unless prior agreed but doesn't sound exactly like u did that in this situation.
btw when you say dual rep in meds do you mean 2 shield boosters or did you just mean that was on lows?
