Marcus Druallis Quantum Industries Prime Orbital Systems	Posted - 2007.01.11 18:55:00 - [1] Hi. My next plunge into SP's will be recons. I know the Pilgrim is a deadly ship, but I'd like to know more about the Falcon. How do they compare. I'd be using this ship for either solo or small gang warfare (with a definite mix of camps and ganks). So, how do their DPS compare. Falcon Jams, Pilgrim sucks you dry and screws your tracking. Which works better in the situations I've described? Thanks. --

Falcon dps = 0 If anyone does ANY form of dps oout of these, its either as a bit of fun, or theyre just crap at setting up the ship. The falcon is PURELY a gang ship. It has no solo capability - All med slots should be ecm, or a sensor booster. No shield boosters, hardeners, extenders, tackling gear, etc. The highslots should be a cloak, scan launcher (maybe) and nos. Guns and lanchers are pointless. Now the pilgrim is a solo ship. If you arent going to work 1005 for your gang, then go pilgrim. Falcon is only for a gang. Simply put

Well for solo work in the area I fly in, if it's solo it's usually below a BS. That would be my big reasoning for the cloak, as I'd be able to bail on anything that didn't fit my setup. As for going for the curse, it's same req's, so I'd be able to fly it anyway. --

Aramendel Amarr Queens of the Stone Age Anarchy Empire	Posted - 2007.01.12 02:03:00 - [19] 3 nos * bonus at recon5 -> effeciently 6 nos. With kali the pilgrim got a good deal weaker, btw. It's "problem" is that it's limited to 12k or less because it has no range bonuson his nosses/neuts. The only EW system which works well at this distance is ECM - which is now not realyl effecient anymore on ships without ECM boni. TDs don't do much vs shortrange turrets at these range, especially if you get webbed, so the kali pilgrim is pretty much limited to cruisers & BSs with longrange turrets.

I agree completely was gonna post the same thing tho i have thought out of the box a few times and fit missile launchers with 2 BCU II's it's kinda crazy cuz it feels like a vaga on steroids :/

I cant say I agree with this statement. I use the pilgrim and usually dont attack anything until I am up close to them. I dont even fit 20 scrams on that ship. I usually decloak right in front of the say BS and got into a tight orbit. There guns wont hit me and they arent going to be able to run thier webs because they have no cap to do it. If they do have drones I take those out first if I think there might be a problem tanking them. I just dont take on Ravens and Domi's
