I have deemed myspace and facebook style websites as a waste of my time and a social degredation at best. All the comments gerneraly relate to "Nice shoes wanna ****?" Best Dressed Corp of 2006 and 2007! -Marcus TheMartin

My ex made me get on it. Havent been on it since she's been off 'it' Its not much different than myspace, and I dont use that either really dont have the time to devote everyday to gettin on and keepin up 'relations' with 200 people who want me in their social network. I havent even been on eve once this week :P I'd rather get on eve than facebook.

It's a stalkers paradise. Seriously, if you sign up, you get to see pretty much exactly what all of your friends have been doing recently. Stuff like Alice is now friends with Bob.
I always thought facebook would be the most fantastically brutal and funny way to dump someone. Just log on, remove that person from your "relationships" section, and when they next log on, they get a message "you are no longer in a relationship with X". Brutal. --------------------------------------------------------------------

it'd be great if it worked the other way around too. that'd be an easy way to get a girlfriend

Try it, it actually worked for me once, ok, so more of a hook-up, and more of a one-nighter, and more of a "It was going to happen eventually" type of thing, but whatever.
Facebook and MySpace are really all about shenanigans, such as some of the ideas posted here. Anyone who tells you otherwise needs to get a life.

Don't know about Facebook, but I've found Myspace to be a great way to find new music to listen to. I just browse through my friends list and follow to band sites listed, then follow to the bands that that band lists and so on and so forth. I love Myspace for that since I refuse to listen to the radio(doesn't play music I like) or pay for XM(which I hear is much better). To help facilitate the process, I always put bands I like as my top friends so others see them when they visit my page. ___________________________________
