Where was the decline in numbers again?
Number of people logging onto the server is down, number of new pilots is down. Fanbois gonna fanboi but accountants gonna account.
Accounts may not be used for business purposes. Access to the System and playing EVE is intended for your personal entertainment, enjoyment and recreation, and not for corporate, business, commercial or income-seeking activities.-á

All the promo's and trailers I've seen of SC give me the impression it'll be like E:D, a decent solo RP game where you are supposed to feel like a big hero who saves the world/galaxy/princess/whatever. Eve isn't about being the 'one', the destined hero, tackling a mighty quest and beating the big bad guy. Eve is more about being part of the universe.
Don't get me wrong, SC says it wants to be a big sandbox game, but the language they use to sell it makes it all about YOU. 'Your own deep space adventure', 'your destiny', 'your choice matters', 'play the character you've always dreamed of being'. This kind of stuff attracts PvE RP. That's fine, I ******* love Skyrim, but I don't think it works in an Eve kind of game. Eve is brutal. Eve throws you into a universe full of players stronger and more established than you and says 'Here are the tools, if you want to be something special you have to claw your way up. Nothing is 'fair', noone owes you anything, and you WILL get killed. Have fun'. I'm pretty convinced that SC, by dreaming so big, will end up being more like a theme-park styled game, showering players with rewards and praise.
Basically I don't think they'll be the same type of game, I don't think SC will be quite as 'anything goes' as eve. I could be completely wrong though. |

CCP is already doing what's next. The game is being turned into EVE 2 without an EVE 2 really existing. They are just taking the current game and fixing it up, making it new whilst being the same game.
Dun'Gal > Hal is simply an imperfect ai, though if drunkeness ever gets programmed into ai's I foresee both a hilarious and tragic end to humanity.

You know, now that I see prototypes of future capitals and citadels, I tend to think so, even if other grand revolutions, like PvE remake, won't get through for quite a while. We've seen "Title 2"'s with less new features and not that it always made them bad.

Eve is and has been delivering. SC and E:D may technically be delivering, but they've barely made it to beta. It's too soon to say how the Eve fanbase is reacting to these games, and for the life of me I can't rationalize why a change in Eve subscription numbers could reflect, right now in December of 2015, a migration to SC and E:D.
This is certainly for you very interesting. But for me was winning back from the NPC character. My friends and I came to the game after reading the 2009 book "empyrean aga" And I inequality "Hollywood plot" sechas who are trying to create.
Yes, I am very bad at English. On the forum almost no Russian RP players.

Thank CCP Falcon, thanks to him, I discovered that the game better Eve, where is not present Martina. And where I can in any way protect the the ruler. (and not just watch as are killing.) Ya know... when you say things like these it tells at least two things about you...
1. You hold a grudge. 2. You can't let go.
So while you somehow believe you are poking anyone with this ... ... all you do is show how easily touched and offended you can be.
I like you! We should be friends! |

I gotta say CCP really does a great job of this. I've never been part of a game that does so much updating so frequently. |
