Bellicose has 40m cubed space for drones. I guess I could put 8 light scout drones in that @ 5 m cubed each? If so, what skills will I need to fly that many drones?
On a general drone skill thing, what's the best drone skills to go for to be able to use them for ratting when flying a Belli?

3 medium drones (30) and 2 light drones (10) would be best. Drone level 5 allows operation of the full 5 drones. If you have Drones below level 5, I advise going with 4 medium drones, since you'll be using your maximum amount either way.
Drone Interfacing offers a large boost in drone damage, and I advise it strongly for everyone.

I may advice a "Advenced Drone Interfacing Skill", it should allow to control another 5 drones so you can have (teoretically) 10 active drones. But it will take a long time to skill up, so i suggest that in case you aim to be a drone-support and act like mini-carrier. Gallante ships are ideal as mini-carriers in this case.

Advenced Drone Interfacing Skill Is for carrier pilots only and doesnt work on normal ships

Yous sure about that?
"Advanced Drone Interfacing: Allows operation of drone control units. 1 extra drone control unit per level."
I dont see any mention of fighters or carriers in that description.
EDIT: Not trying to be a smartass btw, I genuinely want to know as I was planning on training this skill, but not for fighter drones. |

Try fitting a Drone Control Unit on anything else than a carrier. I think (don't remember of the top of my head) they have insane CPU requirements and carriers gets a 99% reduction in CPU need for them.
Trust me. If you could use it on normal ships, every gallente pilot (especially Myrmidon and Dominix) would have trained that skill the day it was finally seeded.

EDIT 2!: Ah, I just spotted the keyword in that description... "1 extra drone control unit". Glad I didnt start training that skill then! lol
Keyword there being Drone Control Unit.
The Advanced Drone Interfacing skill DOES NOT give you one more drone to control. It gives you the module (which can only be practically and efficiently used by carriers and nothing else) to use one more drone, with each Drone Contol Unit you have on, you get 1 more added to your drone control. I will go get a vid that perfectly demonstrates this to you.

That skill seems to catch every pilot interested in drones. I very nearly fell for it when I was starting out.
