I read the forums mostly from work and as a result of a boss with eyes like a hawk I used to have the window minimised and tucked into a corner of my screen so that it wasnt so visible.
But since they have modified the forums I can no longer do this as the text in the posts does not wrap.
Please CCP can you modify the page so that it can be minimised?

I have the same sort of problem, I use it at work and never have it full screen. Now the adverts overlap the text it makes it difficult to use and less convinient than when I could use the scroll bars.
I slight revision would be gladly welcomed.

I'm at home and I couldn't read the forums. Then I reset the monitor to 1024x768 and what you know, it worked. It's gonna be a pain in the you-know-what switching back and forth everytime I want to read the forum tho. But for all those people who can't read the forums, that's what you need to do. They seem to think everybody in the world already has their monitor on this setting. lol

The look isn't a problem, I think it looks good aswell. The problem is the chronicles down the right side encrouch on the text if you reduce the size of your screen. Keep the new look just stop the chronicles moving!!

I like the new site.
Maybe the chronicles could be moved to the left side under the "download eve now" to make more room on the page?

I wasnt ehining I was stating a fact. You cannot minimise the page and still read the posts.
I think that the website looks great apart from that minor inconvenience

Seems to be designed with at least 1024x768 in mind. You have to run EVE at that resolution (or higher), so, run your system at that as well and you'll be fine.
Text cut off starts below 1024x768 resolution it seems.

yes, for some reason they haven't made the page resizable.. and in any resolution less that 1024x768 parts of the site overlap other parts.. its just bad design, tbh.
I like the look and feel though.. perhaps the 'rage red' colours of the old one promoted too many forum flames.. now with the 'calm blue' perhaps it'll be nice and chilled ;)

I hope you are not ATC, and still having time to read the forums, otherwise I'm pretty worried about these folks in the skies already

I play Eve with my main computer, while I surf the forums with my laptop. But, now it has become a bit more painful, as the ads overlap with the text.
I don't know if the people in high places care that I have such a problem, but in case they do, they at least know about it now.

It wraps fine as long as your window is at least 640 pixels wide. Below that it fails.

I do hope that the Eve Chronicles, or whatever is displayed on the right side, is moved under the stuff on the left side.
While I can view it all by making my browser window bigger, my browser now takes up about 2/3rd of my screen. I like running my browser at only 1/2 the size of my screen. Under the old web pages, it was perfect. Now, I have to live with a browser window that is larger and 'wider' to accomodate the new 'features?'.
I will make do, but while I can, some who have smaller screens or lower resolutions are having a harder time adapting.
