How about having a window pop up in the corner of a system you've just jumped into displaying your agents in that system?
Available to toggle on and off of course.
That way people can take the time to do the random agent mission for agents they may have long forgotten or who had slipped their mind but so conveniently showed in their rolodex upon entering that system.
I know for a fact that even when doing a crapload of missions simultaneously this would be a welcome feature for cramming still more missions in.

Due to half-assed ideas on the frontpage miffing me this goes topside.

i flat out refuse to do another mission, but i remember the mad-dash for the implants all to well. Considering the emphasis CCP is going to put on players doing missions to get new items from eve, I believe they should consider doing something like this. Anything to make the missions less of a chore.
great idea danton

Remember that T2 BPs work in a slightly different way. You just get a research agent to sponser a research project for you, and a certain number of research points get added to a pool per second (this is probably affected by your status with the agent, so doing things for the agent would help you out), when you have enough research points, you have the possibility of getting a new T2 BP. (At least this is how it was planned out, last I saw)
Anyway, I like the option of displaying the agents in the current system you are in, but not automatically, it should be manually brought up.

Edited by: Danton Marcellus on 04/12/2003 21:00:26 Hmm, sorta what I'm saying, if you're inclined to do missions and have toggled the option online on your ship computer it will alert you, otherwise it will make itself scarse and not annoy you.
If we have this we might finally be able to purge ourselves of the mile long list of agents displayed upon docking.

Right now in chaos it only displays local agents... but I believe it's just the agents of the current station, could be wrong though...

Still a system notion would be nice, to guide you towards the right station if you feel so inclined.

This sounds like a solid idea.
If I may be so bold as to make an alternative suggestion that would accomplish the same goal; add another tab to "People and Places" that has a list of your agents. Once a player spoke to an agent and accepted the first mission, the agent would be automatically added to this tab. Instead of a popup when you enter a system, the agents who reside in the systems one has set a route through would display in yellow, similar to the way the destination system is currently displayed.
Well met.
