The December release has been deployed on December 8 during an extended downtime.
This release introduces 13 completely new ships together with the revolutionary Micro Jump Field Generator, amazing new visual (damage) effects, new falloff range mechanics for remote repair modules and energy neuts/nos, a massive increase in grid size from 250 km to 8000 km, a huge amount of module rebalances, PVP killmarks on ship hulls, and so much more. Alongside those new features we see the emergence of Operation Frostline, the cluster wide storyline event promising profitable loot and a good amount of spaceship action. Check out the Operation Frostline dev blog!

General
GÇóURLs longer than 6 characters are oddly formatted in chat channels GÇóLetter key shortcuts do not function correctly when certain windows are active GÇóThe Logistics Frigate skill book is not correctly seeded
Modules
GÇóSome Guidance Disruptors have "I" at the end of their names which shouldn't be there. GÇóGuidance Disruptors show as 'Nameless' and are missing a buff bar icon for pilots affected by the module.
New Players and Missions
GÇóThe Advanced Military Mission GÇ£A Friend in Need (4 of 10)GÇ¥ cannot be completed as the remote repair modules do not trigger the mission complete flag any more.
Scanning, D-scan, Solar System map, Beta map

The brightness slider is on a button called 'Brightness' in the 'Display and Graphics' tab in the ESC menu.
Opt in new camera was pushed till roughly the 15th.

I can assure you that Eve doesn't apply any depth-based blurring whatsoever. Can you post a picture of what you're describing?

Sorry for the inconvenience, this was not meant to happen as these are changes planned for the future Citadel release, but something appears to have gone wrong in the build process, this will be fixed tomorrow.

This is intended. We wanted to cut out the wrecks and just drop one important loot container.

With the module tiericide initiative we are slowly phasing out the relevance of the level 1-4 meta levels. Instead, meta level modules will be almost identical to their tech 1 counterparts, with one or two improvements (and will all be simply meta 1). If you compare the stats of the Tech 1, Scoped and Compact versions of these modules, you will see that the compact has a lower cpu usage and activation cost, the scoped has an increased range and both have a higher neut value than the tech I. In all other ways they are identical. Both are viable options depending on your situation. Obviously it may take time for the market to reflect these changes, but you may find the value of the items changing as this becomes clearer to everyone.
TL:DR: Because the module has gone from meta 4 to meta 1 has no bearing on its quality going forward. We are phasing out the use of meta 1-4 to indicate quality, instead meta variants will usually give you a single unique benefit over their T1 counterparts.

On the Warp Disruption Fields re balance thread , there was a statement that both sansha and concord version will drop and be available in LP store , yet sansha item was not created in the lp store.
I don't have any info on the pirate LP stores. The Sansha WDFGs are available only as loot, not in any LP store.

A workaround for this issue is to simply open the cargo of your current ship, and after that you can accept the contract  We have fixed this internally, but until we deploy that fix, please use that workaround

The NPC types are new so will need to be added manually, and it is by design that these NPC do not create wrecks they just drop the can with loot at the end.

Oh sorry I wasn't clear, the camera zoom reset has been fixed, we are tracking the zoom shortcuts bug and are working towards a fix for it, thankyou for your patience.
