I do not believe this role bonus is being applied Can someone else test independantly for me, to confirm my conclusions please? Would be greatly appreciated Cheers o/ Jas

I like to 'explore' I could go further on how many things I enjoy 'exploring' but I fear those posts would be deleted Therefore, as far as exploring goes, I enjoy exploring all aspects of a new EVE update Is that so bad?

No problem at all flying a prospect (with all level 5 skills, including expedition frigates), I can touch at around 3,200 M3(ish) with 2 modulated deep core mining lasers (+ crystals attatched) now with the endurance.. and its 300% bonus to ore yield.. i'm only touching on around 1600m3 per cycle with a single mining laser (+ crystals attatched) [note: you can only fit 1 mining laser to this varient] Now am i mistaken in my understanding of the role bonus? I'm understand it as the following: If you have 'x m3' as your yield, but the role of the ship is '100% bonus' should be 2x m3? (basically double) Therefore, using this model, shouldnt the m3 of the single mining laser be 4x larger due to +300% bonus?

Note the Prospect has 2x turrets so mines a total of 2050. I'm not sure where you are getting 3200 on a prospect, although I may have an idea. note there is a bug that in station if you swap from one ship to another sometimes the bonuses don't properly update, so it is possible you are looking at a prospect with endurance bonuses. @ChainsawPlankto

Just a note: If you fit Lazors to a Tempest, you don't get any weapon bonuses. (shouldn't anyways) Just wanted to save you some time there. -me Btw, bug hunters are still probably taking applications.

Based on the Endurance's listed bonuses, an Endurance with its one laser should yield the exact same amount as a Venture with two lasers. However, the yield I'm seeing from my Endurance is only matching a role bonus of 200% to ore mining, instead of the listed 300%. This results in only 75% of what a Venture yields. FYI, my calculations are matching in-game yields exactly for both the Venture and Prospect. I'm building some ice mining lasers as I type and will rerun the yield calcs for the ice to see if that role bonus is applied properly.

The whole point of this thread is that the theoretical yield does not match the actual yield. Yes, EFT matches the theoretical yield since it is coded using the listed role bonuses. For someone who comes across your post, the 463m3 and 882m3 are per 180s cycle per laser (with Tier 2 mining crystals). The Prospect can mount two turrets to the Endurance's one, so the total yield for a Prospect would be 926m3 per cycle or 309m3/min compared to the Endurance's 882m3/180s or 294/min.
