Don't think that every dread you meet goes boom like that. Many would wtfbbq all your larger ships and tank the smaller ones like BCs forever....

Pretty much he did have a ship warp in to try and drop cyno, with no success. I do feel for the guy tho, despite it being well deserved. He felt bad enough for the loss, we didn't smack, he smacked himself. The poor guy lost everything in one nasty blow.

When I tried out a dread (naglfar) on the test-server for the first time in Revelations, it seemed almost undestructable, at least to a few carriers and a Phoenix, one carrier at least nos'ing.
And when I tried to get away from a minmatar battlestar pos with 6 large-guns there, that scrambled me, the dread tanked even that for maybe 10-15 minutes without siege-mode, until I got away. It's insane.

I know right... why the crappy webber. Thing is I was so pleased with my corpmate Darth Jahib for tackling the dread that I gave him a special reward. It was my T2/faction fitted Navy Augoror and I had taken the Fleeting Propulsion Inhibitor off the myrm and put it on that. It corresponded with his 100th kill (the dreads cyno ship) so I put the best mods possible on his reward. And keep in mind, this was before the Revelation even died.

FWIW, I had Eve windowed and was doing other stuff. I was watching Taledega Nights at the time. I believe it was actually a 11 hour wait, which included a 3 hour nap shortly after he logged off while someone else monitored for logins.
I was fully prepared to camp that spot indefinitely.
