Exellent fight's guys. :>
Lag was horrid, but we expected that and went ahead with the fight anyway.
I think that was indeed the biggest fight ever in eve. It was great fun.
We lost our first ship outside of a station to some CA peeps. (Shrike). 
Oh and Zap, we left Syndicate because we ran out of station peircing ammo, and decided to pay the CA a visit again :>
Good fun, smack talk was virtually 0, nice attitude from all for a change.
To all sides, good fighting, looking forward to more.

It was a good fight with SA taking the jumpin point at first but the CA then taking and holding the VOL gate.
Lots of ppl "Ran" and lots of ppl jumped into almost certain death.
When my structure is 5% and my armour is less than 5% i take the strategic decision of trying to warp out, repair and rejoin the fight. (which in my case i did and count myself lucky to have "Escaped" at that point)
IŠm sure this goes for most of the players in this fight, nobody stays and gets killed if they can help it, but then again nobody just sits and watches the battle either (or do they?).
This was probably the biggest battle ive ever fought and ive fought a few. The lag factor was bad but it was not as bad as i for one expected. But it kinda sucks if you canŠt see your missiles and half your modules either donŠt activate or donŠt deactivate.
My hat off for all involved and may we fight another day..
PS: It would be nice to get a response from the DevŠs (or the server pplz) about how the server was coping with 100+ ppl insystem and most of them at one point fighting. This could be a valuable insight into improving server performance

I would love to see a comment on this as well. Lag was certainly the biggest enemy for both sides tonight as I think both sides would attest to.
Anyways, as I said in another post, GG to all involved. Was a great time, even though I only caught the last few hrs or so due to work.
Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

Heh, first the hopeless pirates from curse taunt us into coming back there. Now when we do, they wonder why we do. It's like our first assault on Curse months ago all over again. "Ha ha, evol won't come 100 gates away to fight us un Curse ha ha." "omg why are you here?"
No wonder you guys accidentally lock, scramble, and fire on your own allies.

I have to agree, it was more like a slide show than an actual game. I think at one time we had at least 60-70 ships fighting in the initial battle. Damn good job on both sides. However, stain came back for more after most of evol logged and we took out another 5 bs's with at least same amount of cruisers so it was even more fun =)
Once again GG everyone and nice keeping it respectful and keeping that horrid trash talking at a minimum.

Yes you just need to accept it its ok to cry wen you lose a ship.But being a **** about it is the worse thing you do.But dont be expecting any thing less from us next time you come.Caus half of our forces wasent even there!!

ALL I GOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS DAY HOLY****, IT WAS FUN ONCE THE LAG WENT AWAY TOWARDS THE END.
I DONT KNOW WHY EVOL IS SAYING YOU GUYS GOT SO MANY KILLS WHEN CA IS CONVIRMING 7BS'S AND 2 CRUISER'S LOST TODAY IN THIS BATTLE. SA AND GWP WASNT SO LUCKY LOSING AROUND 30 SHIPS AND 23 PODS. EVOL MIGHT BE RIGHT ABOUT US NOT KILLING ANY OF THEM CONSIDERING ITS HARD TO KILL PEOPLE WHO WARP IN 110KM AWAY AND THEN WARP OUT WHEN THEY START TAKING DAMAGE. BUT ALL AND ALL SA AND GWP LOST BIG.
IT WAS A FUN WHAT 7HR FIGHT.

I'm kicking myself that i missed this tonight guys but it does sound like those involved had fun. I do have to mention, the only member of Evol i've ever met is Homo Erectus, and i'm glad to say that from this thread it can be seen that not all members of Evol have their heads stuck up their a** like their boy Homo over there. Homo wasn't even at the battle and he comes on here and flames people... what a child...

Hehe Zelota, Everlasting is Stain just to let ya know so it doesn't look like there was more outside assitance than there really was.
As for losses, No clue about CA's side and I was not around for the first two battles. But the third battle was definately CA's. As far as I know though we only lost 2 scorpions and some cruisers. Lots of damaged battleships though.
It is nice to actually read a forum on an engagement though and not see it turn into a mines bigger, no it's not, yes it is, flame match. Almost makes me not want to shoot you guys now...Almost..

Homo Erectus, you sound very very bitter mate. I just read all of this thread and I must say that out of all of the post in here, yours are most definitely the worst.
It seems like everyone had fun in the battle except you.
From my side, it looks like you really hate to sound like a looser (which looking at your posts, you probably are). Take a chill pill, don't sound so defensive, it really doesn't suit you and it certainly makes you look most amateurish.

Summary of the days events.
First fight - 40 SA/EVOL, 30 CA, CA in defencive position. 1 mass ship 1 EV ship went down. 4 CA ships went down. SA won the feild.
Second fight - Euros from SA went to bed plus we were in CA territory easy for them to re-enforce. 30 SA/EVOl 40 CA. SA had defencive position. CA won the feild but the ship destroyed count was still in the favor of SA. 2 b-ship lost from SA/EVOL, 4 CA ships lost/
Skirmishes with EVol - evol played with CA by themselves for awhile and was doing a good job but eventually shrike went down and they called it a night.
Fourth fight - we weren't ready to go home yet so we gave it one last push. Ca in defended position. Fight was about 15 on 15. 2 SA ships down no CA down. CA won the feild.
Then it was called a night.
Total b-ship loss not including cruisers. SA - 6 b-ships, EVOL - 1 b-ship, CA - 8 b-ships.
Pretty evenly matched day. I would consider CA the winner of the feild as a 10 hour battle in enemy territory was hard to keep men supplied. We were happy with the kill ratio nontheleast.
What I personally learned. Buy a new comp or dont engage that kinda madness anymore :)

I'm fairly sure that none of you will ever meet anyone as skilled as Homo Erectus.
He has singlehandedly routed pirates in PF and FD; he walked knowingly into a trap and ended up turning the tables on the opponents; he has won every single 1 vs 1 fight against those who gathered the balls to face him; and he never lies.
It is meaningless to say that the other evol people are differnt from him because we are all the same spirit. If he calls you an imbecile, we all refer to you as an imbecile.
That being said, reading the reactions of all those who are visibly antagonistic towards him, all I san say is: ha ha ha.

You know this wasn't my intention, I didn't claim anything, other then the fact I died and that was a first and I said it was really fun, this why I started the thread, but vegeta was the first to say "we kicked SA ass", that's not what wanted, but this quickly turned into a we did this, u din't doo that, I doubt that no m0o has died, c'mon seriously, I admited I died, and I said it was fun, it posted to show that this was one of the funest things to date despite all the lag, however people just can't admit things, I ran around sometimes, I 've seen vegeta himself to a group by a gate an run, and that kind thing happened for a good while, we fought several places, and I personally seen a bunch of CA ships go down, but I was hoping we could get a truthfull answer, but oh well...
Props to everyone involved, it was fun, and good going on destroying much ship, now I got poded by a single person by a station, dunno what happened to much lag, still fun!
I got shot up by 18 ships, and was still getting pretty good dmg on to USS Omaha, fun stuff, too bad he didnt go down b4 I did...

lol redon u have to be the luckiest pilot alive amt as a couple of mass Bs's were firing on you for well over 2 mins after u had clearly gone all red in the target icon . As for the fight WOW, all 3 of my hardeners got stuck on along with my shield booster but none were taking cap, so in the second battle i just sat there and let about 8-10 ships fire on me, eventually warped out cause i was jammed and coudnt lock( think my radar strength was -58). I also hear monk got this invunribility bug aswell during combat

Alone at seperate times had 1 raven, 2 scorps, 2 apocs an various crusiers running from me or dock in battle 1v1. Anyone can do it setup correctly. So that point is mute.

I was only there for the first skirmish
From what I just heard on TS/Corp channel, Crimsonjade just gave the most accurate representation of what happened.
I don't even want to contemplate how bad the lag was - the first skirmish involving 9 vs 9 was manageable (I had 5 ships targetting me or more - can only target 5 ships max ) enough for me to hit mwd and start target-jamming people as I got free of the 2 Ravens, 2 Doms, and 1 Tempest that was hitting me.
I doubt I'd bother fighting in a system with 70+ people in it - lag just contributes too much and skill too little.

Yep. I got home from work towards the tail-end of the fight...was out of missiles/drones but figured I'd equip what I could and head out anyway..until I heard "91 people in local".
