Any help tips with this would be greatly appreciated. There are some things in my life I'm not proud of. The things I am proud of are just disgusting!!

Posted - 2007.02.27 03:17:00 - [242] You can convert the .dds to .jpg like everybody else (cuz max sucks at working directly with .dds) and the .tri's to .obj and you should be well able to import it. Actually, it should have .3ds even, which is supposed to be more compatible. I don't use Blender3D even though I've got opensource written all over here because it just doesn't posses the rendering power I desire. Try to do HDRI with Blender, you'll break your hand before you manage to get it working. ____________________________________________ Toyship Wallpapers

Stuff saved at a 4:3 resolution looks distorted if it is merely resized into a 16:10 resolution (i.e. 1600x1200 vs. 1920x1200). For a good example of what I'm talking about, look at the Punishers-in-a-cup. See how it distorts, just like it would if I told the 1600x1200 to stretch to fit? If you could fix that somehow, I'd be much obliged :) goes back to ogling the stacks of little ships

Thanks for the giving the Eve community new backgrounds for our desktops. Are you still taking ideas? If so, then maybe you do something for the Sansha that would be something along the lines of a demented child's playroom (kind of like Sid in Toy Story: mutant toys). Other than that, perhaps seeing some sets with all the races' Assault Ships together, another with the interceptors, HAC's, etc.

I think the EVE store now has a new item they need to work on selling :P As far as the chess set goes, can you make it not so cruiser heavy? For instance, use the Titan's as kings, motherships as queens (get it? mom, queen?) battleship as bishop, battlecruiser as nights, cruiser as castle, and finally the frigates as pawns. I think I would actually buy an eve chess set if they had the chess characters as EVE ships, with the sides being classics like the minmater vs ammar, caldari vs gallente etc..

Its not going to be easy to simulate the jove ships fireing as I do not know where the turrets are placed on them Nice job there, but it could use some anti-aliasing, a better background and some lightning love.
