We were heading up to a 1.4k mountain top when cought by an ice storm, was a bit scary but fun in the end. Truely nice to see all the nature look like that. Reached the destination and fell asleep instantly.

AMERICA IS FROZEN
This is so not cool. I live in Houston, it isn't supposed to get cold here. My car doesn't even have a heater. I don't own a jacket, just lots of hoodies.
It actually got colder today as the day went on. THAT'S BACKWARDS. It isn't supposed to be colder at noon than it was at 6 a.m. ----- Traditional morality is just a clever way for the weak masses to shackle the strong individual. -- Callicles |

Atleast you have some form of winter, though rather harsch (understatement) Here in western Europe we have to do with temps of 11C+ deg for freaking January! Last time that it was so hot was in 1911 or something, when they started recording yearly temps. ________________________________________________

its like that in austin too. everyone is acting like tardvarks though. we can't handle an ice puddle without going totally crazy and acting like mother nature has declared war on us. i'm sure it'll hit 110 next week or something and everyone will forget it every froze this year.

Instead of freezing my arse off like I normally do this time of year, I've been wearing a long sleeved shirt some days - it's really mild, like 13 centigrade this week. Mental.
We'll probably have snow over here in the UK some time at Easter to make up for it probably....

I live in Colorado too
There's about two feet of packed snow / ice on everything not shoveled / plowed; times like these makes me wish I had an SUV.
Me and my friends like to refer to the cities plowing as "half assed," chances are, if you're not driving on the center lane one cheek will be on pavement, the other on ice.
