Guys, you do realise that Egonics released a headbrace that is essentially a head-mounted computer you can control with your brain at about the same time as the Amarr Succession Trials, right? You could just program an app that covers all those functions for that device.
Or just program that app to be installed into the software that all of us capsuleers carry in our heads. Nobody's going to really notice when we are referring to it in our heads.

With the Egonics headbrace or just your standard Neocom, you can make others listen to you talk to yourself. By vocalising everything you are doing with your brain.
You can also do that 'wave and swipe at empty air' gesture to make yourself look extra crazy.

On one hand I already have these services covered in one way or another and when it comes to things that might interface with implants or directly with my brain I only trust established companies with records of high quality and safe devices like Inherent, Noble Exchange, and the Huogikku Corporation. Halbata Technologies would like to issue a reminder that the PDA is a Personal Digital Assistant. The device is not designed, and therefore not recommended, to be used for anything outside of that. Please refrain from trying to jury rig your PDAs into interfacing with a VR device, as this could cause permanent damage to your PDA.
All users who slagged their devices can request a free replacement, which will also be incompatible with VR technology. We ask that users who have slagged their devices file feedback detailing their attempts to jury rig, as any mistakes can help future development. |

Needs Slave Management features GÇö
- Detection of slave by facial recognition, bar code tattoos, or chip implants.
- Detailed (like, really detailed) storage of slave's blood type information in addition to the usual personal identifiers and demographics.
- Double as a glaive collar control pad, with buttons for "inject Vitoc", as well as levels (up to fatal) of chemical and electrical shock.
- Double as a TCMC control pad, including ability to control the slave's movement and speech should the required TCMCs be installed in the slave.
- Tracking of Vitoc strains and dosing schedule.
- Software integration with the Electric Lash, counting the times the slave has been whipped (with bar charts and such).
- Software integration with position tracking and popular COTS ergonometers, counting the slave's work (again with bar charts and such).
- And more. Surprise me.
The food and beverage software should be updated with blood-based recipes. All of the software featuring a clothed pAI should have the option to run in "Amarr Purity" mode, forbidding the clothing of the pAI in naughty outfits. |

Malfunction #1. The product insults its owner. Malfunction #2. The product talks about indecent things without reason. Malfunction #3. Database corruption (field: human biology). Malfunction #4. Failure to execute direct order immediately.

The VeeVee unit has exceeded my expectations. The VeeVee unit, or Valerie as she has called herself, is an excellent planning device for my daily activities as well as keeping track of scheduling in addition to other office duties that I cannot be bothered to multimanage all on my own.
In addition to those duties, she has a catalog of excellent advise that I find myself often referring back to. A charming pAI, I recommend Valerie, most definitely. She responds to criticism and forwards all possible feedback to designers, allowing for further improvement in both her software in addition to her hardware. I personally have submitted several feedback reports and, as such, she has been updated.
For those especially lonely, she is also rather cute.
Diana Kim wrote:Malfunction #4. Failure to execute direct order immediately.
She does have a set of laws she must follow, meaning she cannot truly follow every order. There are some she must not.

All Halbata Technologies products are programmed with a modified copy of Asimov's laws of robotics. The origins of the word or name Asimov may have been lost to time - much like the origins of the equally ubiquitous newton or pascal - but its usefulness in robotics has not. The three basic laws that are in common use for basic machine intelligence today are:
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. 2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. 3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
These laws are recommended to be one of the first things programmed into a machine intelligence and given the highest priority, as to avoid any subversive behaviors. Halbata Technologies has its own modified list which can be further edited by any user at any point in time.
If you have a further interest in robotics, Halbata Technologies would like to convey an invitation to tour our facilities and learn about our methods. |

Too bad we can't have these laws applied to all our drones. Otherwise our combat drones will refuse to engage hostiles.
Imagine a Vexor launching drones that will will sit on grid in silent protest over the order to kill that other ship.

The order wasn't contradicting other rules: it was to delete the information as it was containing classified data which existence in the device memory is considered not safe by the reason of connectivity topology.
I had to repeat the order several times before it was executed.
With the present configuration I do not recommend to use the device for military applications. However, its usefullness for military applications should be the goal of the following testing runs.

Update 0.25 Release Notes
Software:
- Users should be able to design the pAI's clothing now; further bug testing is needed, and users are encouraged to upload designs to the new clothing library
- A database of religious hymns and chants, which the pAI should be able to sing on demand
- A first aid suite, including step-by-step tutorials and medical advice
- Increased capsuleer implant compatibility and synergy: users now have the ability to choose to share sight and taste sensory information in addition to hearing
- Users are now allowed to contribute to the pAI's restaurant database
- A basic game suite, including Quafe Crush
- Several pAI bugs have been patched
- the pAI can now, given a signal, fabricate an elaborate excuse to get its user out of uncomfortable situations
- the pAI upon first boot up will now offer a prompt to explain its Asimov's Laws for first time users
- the pAI upon first boot up will now offer a prompt to enable the Emergency Alert System
Hardware:
- Integrated Hologram Projector
- Heartbeat Monitor
Halbata Technologies will be extending the free trial indefinitely for the base model of the PDA and pAI. We are currently considering a payment model based on picking and choosing optional PDA hardware to their liking, possibly including a digital lock pick, a blood testing add on, an atmospheric analyzer, a ping tool, a remote drone controller, and more. Halbata Technologies encourages users to share their feedback regarding what hardware should be part of the free base model, their feelings regarding this possible payment model, and what hardware Halbata Technologies should develop in the future.
Special thanks to user Charles Cambridge Schmidt for his contributions concerning the hologram projector. Your work will be credited in all future releases of our instruction manual. In addition, our instruction manual will be fixed... We apologize for any toaster-related confusion. |

Looks interesting. I believe a tests for health monitoring and optimization of training procedures during physical exercises should be arranged. Of course provided that human physiology database corruption have been fixed.
Last time the database error lead to suggestion that to create human life one should use a viscous homogenous substance and a lowmolecular organic solvent. Obviously that putting these two things together would lead only to homogenous solution, not any sort of a life form.
