Nothing good ever came from either. But dreams are nice to have. |

Caps are just oversized battleships that serve no additional purpose other than to make you lose more isk when they finally blow up. Any unique purpose they ever served was continually nerfed and nerfed and nerfed, or never realized at all. Docking in Titans? Nah. We'll let them blow up entire subcap fleets though. Nah wait, thats stupid too. Actually caps are pretty stupid in general so we'll just make it a cap-killing weapon.
T3 doesn't need much explanation. It is simply toxic as hell to balance and completely screws with the hull-size hierarchy. When balancing by isk, we already had rare and expensive modules which serve all ship sizes. T3 was simply a function that funneled additional power gain to a much smaller number of ships at only two hull sizes. How the hell was that good for the game? |

Then the person sees that their problem wasn't the things they pinned their hate on, it was something else (probably themselves) and just find something else to blame their unhappiness on. This kind of thinking led to "excellent new ideas" like jump fatigue and fozziesov ("the problem is power projection and super caps!, THATS why we can't beat PL or CFC, it has nothing to do with our own lack of martial/military skill!!!"). Months later and imo not much has changed, PL and Goons stronger than ever and people still complaining about things needing to be deleted from the game.
Wrong. I will never be happy.
But T3 and Caps are still dumb as hell. |

But T3 and Caps are still dumb as hell. My neighbour's grass is greener than mine. Instead of taking care of mine and making it nicer, I'm just gonna burn his instead. That's how you're coming across to me, jealous and whining about the things other people have that you don't.
.... this character has been around for a decade. If you think I don't have access to these things you need to stay very far away from a detective career. |

I find it incredibly ironic that you'd question my deductive reasoning skills when you assume that I'd assume age of character has anything to do with one's capabilities in EVE. Just because a character has existed for a decade doesn't mean anyone's been using it.
There is more evidence to support the possibility of my having these toys than there is to assume I don't. I am very much a billionare, same as most of the veteran community.
And for the low low price of 500,000,000 isk, you too can share in my wealth of secrets. Act now! |

How long have you been playing? Wait nvm... have you ever been to null-sec in a proper alliance? Doesn't look like it from the faiposting.
Several times. Nullsec alliance culture is generally cancer. A fruitless system of people taking advantage of people. I prefer to run my own thing.
Fun fact, I was part of the first blue killed T3 when Drekla decided to awox SYS-K. At least, the first as far as anyone is aware. They were quite new at the time, and very expensive. The tears were good. |

This isn't the first time they've been "rebalanced" and it wont be the last. Nothing will change. |

Of course they won't be removed. That would be too efficient. |

This isn't the first time they've been "rebalanced" and it wont be the last. Nothing will change. Except that capital ships aren't just getting rebalanced, they're getting a fundamentally massive change to their mechanics and roles. That's something that they really haven't had since they were created.
How much you wanna bet someone still finds a way to rat with them?
I mean hell, I've watched Moros IN SIEGE MODE farm sleepers. I have no faith in the process of capital balance. |
