The Shadow Order (TSO) is open to new pilots seeking a home in the New Eden star cluster. TSO was formed in December of 2004 as a merger between several other corps that wanted to reform the TSO guild from Earth and Beyond. Our goal has always been to build a great organization of people, instead of focusing on any specific aspect of the game. If you have good people you can accomplish anything. We organize into three specific divisions, Assault for combat, Engineering for industry/infrastructure and Development for mentoring.
We have some specific information about who we are on our forums, which are open to all.

Because we have a fairly high average age (30something), there is no squabbling between members over trivial issues. If you've played WoW or equivalent, you will know what I mean. Having more mature players is one of the things I most enjoy about the group. Cheers.

I love these recruiting drives. More new people to meet.
I know that I will come across sounding like a cheerleader. (ah what the hell....GIMMIE A T !! GIMMIE AN S !!!....nevermind, I'll come back and edit that out later )
Seriously tho...
I've been flying with the pilots of TSO for forever now and I have yet to meet a finer gang of people in this game or any other for that matter.
The goals are ballanced, everyone can find a niche in TSO.
The level of maturity is a refreshing change from what I've experienced before. Mature...but not old and stodgy.
Eyes always on the goal, but not all militant and anal about it.
The leadership is open to the rank and file. No secret Cabals or double secret probation. Even the newbiest of the newb can speak their mind. The best managed corp or guild I've been in. (and boss...how about that raise we were talking about...)
But I think the part that impresses me the most is the loyalty the members show toward each other. Call for help ? In an instant... Problem or question ? always a helpful hint. Wether it's an op, a personal issue, rescue from nasty rats or just help moving across the street the members of TSO are always there.
Also...everyone who joins gets to pick on Lowfyr...our corp whipping boy...
 (sorry Lowf...the advertising value in this is just too good to pass up)

Just thought I'd add in that TSO is a great way to learn the finer details of the game. We've members from all backgrounds and EVE experiences. PvP, o.o and empire ops, industry and mining, missions. Even relative newcomers to EVE can find their niche and a great gang of friends to fly with and learn from.

Would you consider taking in a group of 4 friends, our current corp is inactive and were looking for a new home. Were euro based players and are mostly pvp orientated but do mining to replace our losses.
I tried to contact you last night but you were offline,do you have a public channel ?

I will reiterate that this is an awesome corp. You can do pretty much whatever you want. We are well established in 0.0 and it's lots of fun out here, whether you want to rat, mine, do complexes (10/10's anyone?), pvp, build stuff, shoot stuff, etc.
