When CCP put up the advert saying "Crucible - reigniting the fire" they were darn serious.
A wobbing 50 % bonus to PVP kills the week after Crucible in comparison to the week after.

If you mean reignite the fire of the summer of rage, you may be correct. Too soon to tell. If muzzling criticism is their new corporate strategy, I expect this will end poorly for them.

in my opinion, i think there are still significant things holding Eve back from full ignition.
some major changes would have to happen, both personnel and strategy wise, to make Eve take off. i don't anticipate CCP doing any of those things, for multiple reasons.
i'm always rooting for CCP and Eve, though, and hoping for a change of direction for the better. |

The increase in PvP was probably because of those CCP fleets everyone was rushing to kill, and the aftermath that occurred when the fight was over with people killing each other.

Yes, 21000 kills were had because CCP flew two fleets. |
