Not all t2 bpos can be manufactured at a profit. Just raw costs alone you spend 3.71m isk to build a module that sells for 3.89m. This doesn't take into account fee/taxes/pos fuel/time. What's really bad about this particular module is that the volume is extremely low in jita. It averages maybe 50 units/day in volume.
So you are making 180,000 isk/unit and manufacturing roughly 32 units a day in a pos. 180,000x32x365 = 2.1b/year in profit. Again this doesn't even include all of the fees associated with the venture so actual profit is lower.
People usually won't pay 50b for a print that makes 2b/year. Even at 20b it would take 10 years to recoup the money invested. at 50b isk it would take 25 years. What you call "lowballing" are in fact reasonable offers based on the numbers.
Prepare to get "bored" at your prices.

T2 BPO's are not just for profit to be honest, they are more for collectors value since you can't get them anymore, they are a rarity now a days. People who buy these are 90% of the time, collectors.
I'd love to bid, but I don't have anywhere near the amount of isk needed.

Tech 2 BPO is a collector's item nowadays, that's all it is.
Kind of like how someone would pay a few billion ISK for Chribba or CCP Developer's frozen corpse.
People spend lots of money on diamonds, even though they are just rocks - it's the shininess that entices them :) |
