Sorry to be off topic here and as we have so many Mercenary in this post I'd like to ask is the meaning of the word Mercenary in Eve is the same as real world meaning

In eve many merc's seem to war dec random small mining corp (which they pay for the war them selves) and hanging about trade hub for easy kills and killright scams.
So is it they don't understand the mean or is there not much work about
Don't get me wrong if you want to war dec 10 corp a day hoping for a fight , fine by me but the word Merc doesn't seem to fit, maybe people can think of other words that do fit so said people can change corp description.

Well, it was a fun ride. Lols lasted for days. The Marmite Collective 2.0 will live on forever in the hearts and minds of people.
I'm more handsome then tora, but alas, I don't have a boyfriend at CCP. I'll definitely find ways to manipulate events in the future, even though tora is busy shining shafts and gnob gobbling for our good friends at CCP. This is an unhealthy relationship that needs to end as tora gets special perks and treatment.
