SorTrak X-Fire	Posted - 2007.01.18 19:31:00 - [1] Hey I¦m wondering first thing could I take down a Small POS with a Apoc solo, the POS has only 2 turrets both small, one is small beam and other is small pulse.. if it would be possible what kind of fit should I use ? I have advanced weapon upgrade lvl 4, amarr bs 5 and loads of gunnery / tanking skills.. But here¦s the thing I can use t2 pulse lasers but not beams, so would a close range fit work ? or would I need to go for best named beams or wait and train up t2 ? please let me know what type of fit you think would be needed for this stunt.. Allso one last thing how long would this take if it is acctually possible. Thank you

Not to metion it wont die, just go reinforced (assuming it has stront) Current RKK Ranking: (AMM15) Ace - 1000 kills (Fox) targets are lewt, just not yet in can form

Apoc will be able to tank it fairly easy, but even if your dps beats the towers regen then it would take ages to kill it.

Mine is a large, but even if it was small... a lone ship trying to ransom me... not happenin. Someone could just come out in a cruiser, fitted with NOS/tracking disrupts/Neutralizers, orbit you, scramble you, suck your cap completely dry, and you couldn't do crap about it. lolz

If it were my POS and you were trying to ransom it with a single battleship, I'd just anchor and online first a warp scrammer, then a bigger gun/launcher and watch you pop. If someone comes to defend the pos you come nack to a clone bay with very little loss, if not it will be in reinforced.

Small POS guns use medium ammo, so multi's = 14em and 10therm Damage mods on the guns are 22.5 and 40, both have 7.5 rof Your resists are 80 em and 81.62 therm You take (62.5/7.5) * 14 * 0.2 em = 23.3 em and (62.5/7.5) * 10 * 0.1838 therm = 15.3 therm so 38.6 total dps taken to 53.3 repped

It will take about 5 hrs 30 min, like I said in a earlier post. Even if the CT was at peak regen throughout it would get to reinforced in 6 hrs 30 min vs a full t1 fit. I popped two of the haulers and they dropped cans with the pos modules in them. I ransomed them to not pop the cans. Mwaha.
