I'll be training medium beam/pulse specialization tomorrow in preparation for large. I have a feeling Artillery is always going to be inferior to beams and rails. Glad I'm finally finishing training now though.

Artillery does not excel at anything. It has the worst DPS by quite a bit, average range, horrible tracking, and comparable alpha to Tachyons. Nothing about artillery has it stand out from it's counter parts, at all. Either add 1600mm artillery...

1. Artillery. I really don't see any advantage whatsoever with using artillery. Terrible DPS, terrible tracking, decent range. Why bother? Doesn't use cap I guess... but Minmatar ships have worse cap recharge anyways so it's irrelevant. Back in ...

I'd recommend cross training to either a Sleipnir or Astarte. They're both incredibly fun ships. I used to only fly Battleships and I finally trained Command Ships. Don't regret it at all. They're amazing.
