I'm completely amarr specced so i cannot comment on the deimos or eagle from experience, though i have always felt the eagle is going to have trouble in all situations.
I'm yet to find a sniper eagle whos damage output worried me in the slightest, they seem easy enough to just ignore, or kill if possible, while their blaster counterparts must have tackling! Speed mod, web, scram. that leaves what, 2 slots left? i forget the eagles layout. But that means if he also wants to inject, hes left with a 1 or 2 slot tank, and not even his resist bonus is going to save him from a gallente blasterboat then.
The sacrilege interests me more to be honest. I've been able to fly one for some time, and it's probably the only kind of ship i can fly that i havent died in at one point or another, simply because i dont undock it.
It doesnt seem to serve any kind of purpose, its not particlarly fast, it doesnt tank as well as a battleship or cruiser and its damage output is laughable. Someone mentioned the idea to me of turning it into a missile specced ship. Not only would this calm down the grievances some caldari are having with having 2 rail boats now, as now the amarr will have to fly outside of their expertise, but it will give amarr something new and potentially a very strong ship. It can armor tank, tackle and fire missiles kind of like a cerberus. I dont presume to want it to hit as hard as a cerb, but i very much like the idea, with amarrs standard EM damage bonus on its missiles, and perhaps a missile flight time or RoF bonus, 5 launchers. forgetting lasers for the most part.

side note to Karma Coma: nutrons on my deimos have a damage mod of about 11 lol and 5.something is not "so small, its worth squat". Second; why would you ever use smaller cap charges than fit in the capacitor injector? Use 800s
Ok, but your damage multiplier is not a direct result of your neutrons, more likely, you have alot more MFS IIs on your ship then I do. Am I correct? If you want to compare them put on electrons with as many MFS IIs and then do the damage to get the average on both and compare.
Its descriptions says if you come close to it you will die... thats why it has 50% damage bonush just from the skills. Its not refering to tackling but pure brute strength.

the only issue i got with a deimos is its speed and its mass...its too slow and heavy for a closerange boat. compared to the vaga its a total brick to fly.

Everything short of an inty is brick compared to the vagabond. The thing has a base speed better than most frigates!

It is the one of two HACs slower than their tech1 variants. And yes for a close range blaster boat speed is important.
