E-R has achieved more than we ever dreamed. We've taken regions, fought every major alliance/group in eve, and managed to scare ASCN once by flying a hauler squad into Feyth "OMG their going to POS spam us!!!" Over the last month E-R Lead has become more and more inactive, we just don't have the time to lead an ADD corp like this. To avoid a slow dying death, we are closing E-R before we get that far. We've achived so much for a "T1 friggy corp" We would like to thank Maza/Black Lance for their continued support throughout our time in eve. We would also like to thank everyone in E-R who has helped make this the most fun corp in eve. To all our enemies who have fought us, we love you (yes even you bob, just bring less) To our friends, we love you all. I want to thank everyone that has been involved with this corp, and all our enemies. There have been some great days, Vale Alliance, Camping YMPL and fighting ASCN, going to delve then to Syndicate, Kicking Xelas out of Tenal and creating NBSI, Fighting the Five. Moving to Curse, then Joining D2, Then the Geminate experience. It would have meant nothing without the pilots and the banter of E-R Pilots. To all of you I say Fk Fking You.!!!! E-R flying randomly about shooting people in the face always made me smile. I even liked the vent singing. The "**** it, lets jump anyway who cares if they have more" attitude is what always made the rush of pvp so intense. It's what keeps me playing to this day. GL in whatever you guys do. I guess they must have really rattled you time and again for you to stalk them in these forums. difference here is that i speak from experience. the mining corps that inhabited BWF actually put up a better and longer fight then E-R did. they lasted a full week of constant war and now they have folded and is running. for E-R it took them 2 small battles where they got their butt handed to them to "go on business elsewhere" and then leave for fountain and then disband as soon as bob came back to fountain. you do the math. Akoudoulos summed it up pretty well on our behalf as a corp. For me, it's been one hell of a ride and i was never the most active of people, the best fighter or the one who topped the killboard. For all our shortcomings, we had a special and nowadays rare case of "fk that" attitude that always managed to get us places, even if it wasn't for long. Alongisde E-R we've done almost everything this game has to offer, we only excelled in a few of it, but we've always had fun doing it and when the fun stopped and boredom started to set in we would go off to do something else. Our lack of consistency was the one single thing that bugged me to hell, but i can't hold it against anyone of the guys. It was their game and it was my choice to tag along with them and play this way, that means for me they were doing something right. At a certain point in the game i was about to quit EvE altogether and the only thing that prevented me was Parity's screaming on voice comms, Naruto Hunter's cynical remarks, Lunas's drunken "we're gonna pwn them guys, jump in" comments which usually ended with us barely winning the fight, Cartiff's famous last words like "That vaga has snakes, he's faster than my Crow...ok,he's all over me,i got him webbed and scrambled" and countless hours of amazing drunken ramblings on Vent/TS. E-R was never meant to be the most efficient, most destructive or richest corp in EvE, but in my eyes it was an overachiever...an overachiever in the fun department. Virtual money, stat whoring, assets and territory never meant jack to us all, having fun as part of our small community was always what it was all about and we always played the game with our own set of rules in mind. Success was never measured by stations, isk or killboards, it was always measured by the amount of people splitting their sides laughing on voice comms and other people's rules didn't matter squat to us. I am extremely privileged to have known these guys. I even feel like i've known most of the guys in RL, heck, we were even discussing a possible RL meet in one of the Greek islands at some point (Lixor get your hotel rooms ready ) I also feel kind of sad to see the name pass into the history books. Not because of anything else, the people will always be around and we will keep in touch via forums and ingame. What slightly saddens me is to see one of the last perfect embodiments of a pure nomad tribe philosophy corp slip away into the sands of time. I seriously hope the small corps all over the game will carry over with the torch, no matter which side of our guns they've faced in the past. Play the game for yourself and not for the community's comments, resist the blobs, carve your own destiny and stick it to the big guys any change you get. What happened is not in my eyes simply the outcome of RL pressure on our leads. It's the result of the way the game is changing, moving on to bigger things all the time and pushing the small groups into the corner. E-R chose to ignore this while having full knowledge of it, they payed the price for their choice and still they had fun every single step along the way. For me that's what it's all about, swimming upstream against the prevailing trend of things and for that i thank you guys for having us along for an awesome 2 year ride. /me raises the glass...screw that and make it a bottle

So very apt that the final action of E-R should be jumping into superior numbers and having a blast no matter the outcome. Unfortunately rl work and (impending) baby pressures have limited my play time (in a good way ) for a while now but I'll always have the fond memories. A big thank you to all friends and enemies and especially to Maza and Black Lance too who have always been with us one way or another.
