I have found some threads asking how to activate AA and AF in Eve-Online, but I couldn't find any complete answer to this.
I had trouble figuring this out, because you don't have to activate AA and AF on eve.exe, but on exefile.exe...
For NVidia graphics card owners, you can just activate this through the NVidia control panel:
Finding the control panel
> Right click on your desktop
> Choose 'Properties'
> Select 'Settings' tab
> Click 'Advanced'
> Choose the [name of your graphics card] tab
> In the menu on the left, choose "Performance and Quality Settings"
Creating a profile
> Click "Add Profile"
> Uncheck "Global driver settings" !
> Click "Browse" and look for the "eve.exe" file in your game directory. This is the game launcher.
> Check "eve.exe" in the list.
> Click "Browse" again and look for "ExeFile.exe", which should be located in "...\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe". This is the game itself.
> Check "ExeFile.exe" in the list.
> Click "OK" to go back to the panel.
Changing settings
Check the boxes next to the options you want to activate (Antialiasing for example), then uncheck "Application-controlled" for that option, and move the slider to increase quality.
By the end, your panel should look like...
And your graphics will have changed from...
to...

I find that on top of that if you turn the gamma down to 0.75 or if thats to dark for you 0.85 you can make Eve and in fact all games look 5x better. Most people seem to have gamma set to 1 which is far to bright.
EDIT I noticed you had x8S isnĘt that supersampling which has a massive performance drop. The other x8 methods are much better as you donĘt get a massive loss in FPS.
Which drivers are you using? the screenshots donĘt match my panel perhaps because I use a 8800.

Well I use the nVidia ForceWare drivers. I have a 7900GT so the 8xS thing really isn't that much of a problem. I really can't see any performance drop (nor a quality improvement over 4x multisampling, but hey, you gotta feed the beast  )
