Tell me your tales... your epic adventures of wins or losses with your carrier. How many ships did you take down? How many did you tank? What was your strategy and what would you do different? I have an Archon, capable of 11 fighters, and wondering what kind of situations could I handle alone or with support.
From your experiences, what happened with you and your carrier in battle?

Avoid warping to POSes filled with hostiles when the system is too lagged for anyone to move.

I have some fraps of fighting a carrier and also fighting in my carrier, before LV thought that I didn;t need it anymore  . Anyhow, once I get my new one and I get some more fraps you will see a vid from my soon with my warping and jumping about in my carrier going yarrr and stuff.

Im yet to fly either so i have no idea how they preform. but as far as ive read up on these ships they have very different roles.

What happens when the 5 carriers all fit a rack of energy neuts? And I've fought dreads in a carrier before..there was no instapopage.

At the end of a pos takedown when we'd warped carriers into the gang to act as support for the dictored dreads, to quote:
"I've killed 18 of them and i ain't leaving 'till those dreads are cyno'd out!"
large numbers of carriers vs. sniper fleets = lol.
Still lost a dread, though  .

It's just delaying the inevitable. 5 carriers vs 5 Dreads, with nobody being able to flee, ends with 5 carrier wrecks and 5 Dreads with unbroken tanks.

When will a carrier EVER face a dread in combat? If that happens, the carrier pilot has done something very very wrong and deserves to die for it.
Carriers are for sitting behind pos shields and stealing killmails from the fighter bombers
