High praise, from a fool, still high praise
Lutien, I'm guessing you did not pay attention to the " " in there? Had you done so you would have realised it was a joke

Originally by: Montaire What did you do in the end about additional trustees
There is no "end" yet so to speak. I am still working on the new investors agreement which will include the trustee changes as well as some others which the investors need to vote on.

Originally by: Omber Zombie Just like Ifni, I should mention that I won't becoming a trustee. Not for his reasons, but more for "i don't have the time". However, I will nominate Treelox if he/she/whatthehellareyoudude? wants to do it. He/She/yougetthepoint is in my corp, so has my trust already.
I was my intention to have at least one person representing the stock exchanges on the board. Which essentially meant either You(Oz), Erfnam or Treelox. Of the bunch I think Treelox is the most intelligent as he/she/yougethepoint was the very first person to invest in FIN.
For the record ifni has not pulled out totally but has taken a "wait and see" aproach, with his final decision being based on what the investors and trustees agreement is in its final form. One thing that is good though is it is pretty clear that ifni is not part of the "old boys club" so to speak (although I never realised I was a member tbh).
The current list in working is:
1) Eefrit (Me) 2) Femintaki 3) EMFi or Dark Shikari (they work too closely together to both be on the board simultaneously) 4) Serenity Steele 5) Chribba 6) Naal Morno 7) ifni 8) OZ/Erfnam/Treelox 9-11) No idea yet, but may only be 9 in total as per a previous suggestion
So there it is!

Thoughts?
I'd much prefer if whoever was chosen was chosen because of trust, not because they're popular.
Imagine if people started choosing Arnold Schwarzenegger and David Hasselhoff for real-life boards.
Dude this makes me a perfect candidate, not only am I not popular, but very trust worthy. I handle on average of about 10bil in Bob assets on daily basis, maybe even more.
With all due respect to the trust your alliance has placed in you, 5-10 billion is pretty darn close to the minimum bar before most people in this channel will even notice you. Now, if a couple BoB people come in here and start vouching for you, that's fine. But my response to seeing someone with 10b worth of someone else's assets under their control is not to respond, "Well, gee, solely on that basis, they should have more!"
Sorry if that's a bit harsh, but FIN has well over a hundred billion in assets, I believe.
MP
MP, while your sentiments are fairly justified in general terms, as far as trust goes, although Riley and I hardly ever saw eye to eye in any decision (I think we both thing an argument is a form of sport ) one thing that I am fully convinced of is that Riley can be trusted. If he really wanted to he could walk off with way more than 10 Bill Isk in corp assets and has over time proven himself to be very trustworthy.
That said, Riley is not known to the community in general and as such would not satisfy the secondary goal for being a trustee - that is to convince the Eve community that the board is trustworthy and would not scam.

Because Fem has proven to think independently and not act as a complete EMFi fanboi on every topic I have ever read. DS appears biased to myself at least and for that reason, if only appearances, I make that statement. There are other reasons that have come up after me posting that, but it is not necessary to go into them.
