Ok folks, i know theres plenty of capital ship threads going around, but i was just curious how others use their carriers. Do you other folks sit em at POS or frontlines, Fighters or drones, gang mods or logistical units....nos or drone control ... yada yada yada.
would be nice to get a rough idea of the community usage.

I think that's the most common (and most boring) use of carriers. I know that some people though ride them with attitude which means highs full of faction smartbombs and then jump to the middle of enemy blob.

mostly carriers just stand back cloaked or in a PoS bubble giving gang support and asigning fighters to other ships.

mine goes in ont the front line.
well, it did until i lost it last night lol
but sitting at ss/pos is more boring then mining, so it goes in with everything else and is used offensively.

You do know that when cloaked your fighters stop working right? And if you use gangmods that they stop working.
So it will be a carrier on a safe, warping back and forth, or at a POS yes

Oh know you can't cloak, your fighters just go dead in space then. Didn't know about gang mods ? That would be wierd considering they're one of the few ships that can fit them.
