I started a few months later (feb 2004 i think) and have never had over a billion in my wallet. Closest I ever came was about 500m when i bought a carrier.
Broke again as usual now of course....

I'd been playing about a year, got up to about 2.2B (3b ish inc assets), then decided to quit the game, so I gave it all to a corp mate, except for about 300m. He's invested it wisely, to say the least.
The first Billion took me about 8 months, the second seems to come so much faster.
Currently back in the game, wallet sitting at around 100m, having just spent 250m on rigs and equipment.

Basically . If you have already amassed 2 Bil through in game play - then you should know what / how - to use it.

weirdly i actually hate having isk. I brought a fenrir when i got flush and now ive brought a nid 
my current wallet is diminishing fast cause im having a huge isk and asset blow out. mainly on ships and fittings :)

I had 2 bn in my wallet here is how I spend it:
600 mil on a Centus X LAR
500 mil investment in ISS --> lost
250 mil donation to my corp --> corp disbanded
200 mil for a new mission ship (dome with t2 fitting) --> got blown up
spend the rest on more t2 missioning gear, and bought my first rigs this weekend. I'm back to 160 mil in cash atm

Never had more then about 800 mill in wallet cuz i usually spend it as fast as i earn it (tbh i think having a lot of cash in your wallet is silly when u can spend it on nice toys n stuff)
I've never really calculated but i'm pretty sure i have a few bill isk in assets.

2 bilion will not buy you any profitable T2 BPO, that is a fact.
As for T1, ships are very hard to get your investment back from, its easy to be fooled by the high sale prices on them but the problem is that the actual profit is not very impressive if looked at over time.
If you wish to be a producer and make isk from what you build I would sugest you go for modules and ammo.
The modules you pick must be modules that people will tend to put in many ships, this meens modules stuck in ships that are used and mostly are safe is not a good investment, aim for the PvP people.
What modules do they use?
Wich of the modules they use are fitted on ships that commonly get destroyed?
Ammo may seem like a poor return product but it all depends on volume, people are by their very nature lazy but they know what stuff are worth, if you can identify a high ammo turnover area and supply a huge number of people with their ammunition needs you will make a small profit very very often, all adding together to a lage profit over time.
Additionally ammo is in all probability the one T2 item you have a chance of buying a decent BPO for with 2 bil, as more and more people gain the skills to use T2 ammo the demand will rise, like T1 ammo the profit margin is small but as people in general cant build their own they will have to rely on a producer.
Some people may say that T2 ammo isnt worth the isk, well for some of the ammo types this is true and thus you must pick your T2 ammo BPO carefully, if you are selling to mission runners (the biggest target consumer) pick an ammo type that apeales to them.
Personally I have never been much of a builder, I build stuff for my own needs mainly and have a few prints in production for my corp but most other things I buy, the way I used to make my isk was luxury ships, modules and playing the market, after that I got lucky with the lottery and have thanx to my corp not had to worry all that much about isk since then.

Hulk + the Ferrari fittings. [at this point the billions come fast, just mine in a belt while doing homework. Absolutely easy money. Tho people often think you are a macroer and try to mess with you.]

Fenrir [absolutely no use to me right now (my phoon bpo is still researching), its big, cool looking and it was the first ship I saw in game that made me say "I am going to fly that no matter what."]
My fourth billion
Hulk for my second account + the Ferrari fittings.
Ive yet to own a t2 bpo. I wouldn't mind one dropping in my lap, but I would probably just sell it. To much effort.

I'd buy a better character to open new possibilities for my gameplay.
Pretty smart dude, the op btw. Still nice to see that people do share.
Talking about the op, if I've understood it correctly, the Myrmidon print should profit quite well, even if I don't have any figures to quote. The ship is well liked atleast.

wish i could figure out how to have more than 100 mil isk max has been 350 mil(lotto win)
with 2bn i'd get all the skill books to get my capital pilot all the skill books need and a carrier to fly. then try and make more money again.
