Next I'd buy a whole bunch of ships and mods for my main and load them into the freighter and trasport them to my bases. Then I'd go take a vacation and blow some of those us and forget about making ISK for a while. Now that's what I would want to happen. What will really happen is that I'd invest it into some activity and try to double and triple that and then perhaps buy some nicer T2 BPO.

He's invested it wisely, to say the least. The first Billion took me about 8 months, the second seems to come so much faster. Currently back in the game, wallet sitting at around 100m, having just spent 250m on rigs and equipment.

Fester Addams Minmatar	Posted - 2007.01.22 12:33:00 - [39] 2 bilion will not buy you any profitable T2 BPO, that is a fact. As for T1, ships are very hard to get your investment back from, its easy to be fooled by the high sale prices on them but the problem is that the actual profit is not very impressive if looked at over time. If you wish to be a producer and make isk from what you build I would sugest you go for modules and ammo. The modules you pick must be modules that people will tend to put in many ships, this meens modules stuck in ships that are used and mostly are safe is not a good investment, aim for the PvP people. What modules do they use? Wich of the modules they use are fitted on ships that commonly get destroyed? Ammo may seem like a poor return product but it all depends on volume, people are by their very nature lazy but they know what stuff are worth, if you can identify a high ammo turnover area and supply a huge number of people with their ammunition needs you will make a small profit very very often, all adding together to a lage profit over time. Additionally ammo is in all probability the one T2 item you have a chance of buying a decent BPO for with 2 bil, as more and more people gain the skills to use T2 ammo the demand will rise, like T1 ammo the profit margin is small but as people in general cant build their own they will have to rely on a producer. Some people may say that T2 ammo isnt worth the isk, well for some of the ammo types this is true and thus you must pick your T2 ammo BPO carefully, if you are selling to mission runners (the biggest target consumer) pick an ammo type that apeales to them. Personally I have never been much of a builder, I build stuff for my own needs mainly and have a few prints in production for my corp but most other things I buy, the way I used to make my isk was luxury ships, modules and playing the market, after that I got lucky with the lottery and have thanx to my corp not had to worry all that much about isk since then. Thanx boss, I can not say how much I apreciate the effort you put in.
