I worked on this in some spare time I had at work/home, hope others find a use for it as well.
What it is: Excel Document (Made with people who have no excel knowledge in mind)
It has all the info for T1 Rigs available in it, navigatable via an easy drop down menu interface.
You can input prices of components to see how much a rig would cost to make just by buying all the components.
You can input the sell price of rigs to display what the most profitable rig to build with current prices is as well as how much profit you make on any rig.
You can add your number on hand of your components and it will display how much it would cost to purchase the rest of the items.

To make it work even better, insert this:
=IF(C27<D27;0;(C27-D27)*E29) In Cell F-27
=IF(C29<D29;0;(C29-D29)*E29) In Cell F-29
=IF(C31<D31;0;(C31-D31)*E31) In cell F-31
What it does: =IF(C27<D27 -- Determines if you have more materials than needed. ;0; -- Is what to display, IF you have more than needed. (C27-D27)*E27)-- If you do not have enough, it retracts what you have, from what is needed, nd then multiplies the result with the cost, and displays the actual cost.
These lines give a more accurate number of total cost, based on what you have in hand.

Nice addition, think I'll stick it into an adjacent cell when I update the file. I like being able to see how much it would cost to just purchase all materials as well as remaining materials

You could also change the section for those without maxed skills:
C-40: =IF(D27>B40;0;(B40-D27)*E27) C-41: =IF(D29>B41;0;(B41-D29)*E29) C-42: =IF(D31>B42;0;(B42-D31)*E31)
C-43: =SUM(C40+C41+C42)
Then this section will change genericly too :)

I like your sheet .. but i am missing a part.
Your sheet is calculated with using the Max player skills for 0 player waste). But your not taking in account the ML of BPO's As Rig BPO's (at least Tech1) are researchable in less then 2 days to perfect ML (no exceptions) it costs even less then your sheet says.
I got all of them researched to perfect ML now ... If you want i can check them all and send the 0 (player+ML) waste list to you.
Me being a pessimist is a win-win situation: Either i am right .. or its even better then i said. |

Nice sheet.
I wanted to be able to see the info on each rig as i'm looking though what to build on the calculation page, so I added: A32 =VLOOKUP(A30,'Rig Information'!B:E,4,FALSE) B32 =VLOOKUP(A30,'Rig Information'!B:E,2,FALSE)
This shows the effect and discription for the currently selected rig in those two cels.

Have you even looked at the sheet? A47 to F52 whows excactly what your describing here ...

Heh, so it does. And yet somehow I failed to notice it when playing around with it for well over 1/2 an hour. I was mostly looking at the two sections at the top; the component costs and the rig choice, and clearly failed to direct my attention below the 'non-maxed-skills' section (which is a waste of space, because production efficency doesnt work on rig production).
Still, I learnt how to use the VLOOKUP function from experimenting with that sheet, which has to be a good thing.

Well some ppl whine on the forums like ... uhh .. like YOU ..
Others find the sollutions that CCP implemented (like mobile labs or low sec systems).
