Edited by: Elle D on 22/01/2007 10:08:26 Use multiple lvl4, Q20 agents in the same system. You are allowed to reject one mission every 4 hours, any more than that and you take a standings hit. So just jump between agents, decline the missions that are too long/low LP and take the missions with good rewards. If you do it right you should never have to take a standing hit with any of your agents because you will come back to him/her looking for another job after the 4 hours is up. That's how to get a lot of LPs if you're flying alone. Obviously you can get them faster by using an alt to paint targets+web or have friends help you out...but that isn't always an option. Do I get 1 meeeelion isk?

Hey Strel... slightly tough question to answer given dont really know your situation. But some rules of thumb:
- kill missions give much better LPs than courier missions, so use agents from Command / Internal Security divisions - there is a huge difference between LP rewards from high quality agents (e.g. Lvl3 Q18) than low ones (e.g. Lvl3 Q-5)
Your best bet is probably to run missions for the defense wing of your faction (e.g. for mine is is Federation Navy). Lots of kill missions and you probably already have good standings (= higher effective quality agents).
- get connections & negotiations skills to improve your standings (and therefore higher effective quality agents)
- consider running missions for a lower level agent. E.G while I can run lvl4 missions solo, many still take me a long time, albeit for up to 5000LP reward. If I get a very high quality lvl3 agent, then sometimes rewards hit 2500LPs - and I can run them very quickly
- I would try to stick to running missions for the same 1 or 2 agents... as you gain standings with them the rewards will increase... i think this is better than doing missions for 4/5 agents
- if you really are set on LPs and nothing else, then go for the mission objective and if you can safely ignore everything else, then do so. So if the mission is "blow up their armory", then try doing just that. This is likely to be a safe option if you are doing lvl3s in a battle ship, or lvl2s in a bcruiser, or lvl1s in a destroyer etc.
Cheers and have fun Mike

And don't forget a high quality agent in 1.0 gives less LP's compared to a lower quality agent in 0.5. I don't know the equation, but i do now my lvl4 q13 agent gives me more lp's as my lvl4 q20 agent in 0.8

hey hey
fastest way i know (and i know someone with 6mil LP)
Connections/negotiation skills will give you a boost to your agent effective quality. but BOTH connections skills for the req dept you want to work for
check your standing list and choose the one corp you have the highest stanging for.
select agents and scroll down each dept and find the highest EFFECTIVE Quality agent. try to find a kill mission agent because as stated kills give higher LP and will make a noticable difference if your runniing for LP only.
ONLY work for that agent and hit mission after mission. the tip about working for multiple agents is a good one but atm LP is agent specific so to gain more lp you need to work 100% for the same agent.
wether L3 or L4 make sure you are proficient at the job if you can splat about 3/4 L3 missions in the same time you can run a L4 then go for the L3 agent. LP rewards are the same for every agent and the differecne is the speed of LP gain and Race specific faction drops. if your getting 10klp for 4klp (L3/4 respecivly) then run L3 for speed.
DONT stop to loot or salvage. remember your goal is LP and you can chain missions much faster if your not stopping to loot/salvage. use an alt to do it or sell/give away the Mission BM's. if your in a corp then corp mates can help speed the entire process up.
hope that helps [/here endeth the lesson]

* dont loot * use the best gear you can afford * if you can, get more ships (even single alt would do) * fit just enough tank to survive and rest should go for ganking * connection skills to level 5, both of them. * get the agent in lowest security space you can tolerate. difference is really noticeable.
and grind them as fast as you can.

Edited by: Lord WarATron on 22/01/2007 12:12:01 The true fastest way is to grab a throwaway drake, and afk those lvl3's in 0.0. You should be able to complete a mission every 10-15mins or so, and make more lp/hour than those running lvl4's in lowsec. -- Slot 10 Blacklight's Modified 'GMhaX' implant +8% Pwnage FREE |

So, lower sec areas give more LP, huh?
Seems too risky though. Due to scanning and such.

Kill missions do *not* give more LP/hr than doing 3-4 courier missions simultaneously IMHO, esp if you use a small fast ship along with your hauler and plan your routes well. Well -- a caveat -- I do lev 4 couriers but level 3 kills, so on second thought I probably don't know what I'm talking about -- hehe!

the time it takes to do the couriers you could have done a kill.**
average LP per courier 500 (being generous) average LP per kill 4k (understated)
thats about 8 couriers per kill and considering the 4hr refusal rule and that to gain the lp you need to be working for the same agent. your going to need to do a kill once in a while.
Unless your planing ahead and trying to gain as much LP for a NPC corp (suspected LP changes) then multiple agents will be the way to go.

I beleive he was refering to those buggy lvl4 couriers which only give you 1m3 or 5m3 cargos for 3000-4000lp. In an interceptor, those missions could be completed in minutes. I think CCP have fixed them now. -- Slot 10 Blacklight's Modified 'GMhaX' implant +8% Pwnage FREE |
