IÆve looked around, but havenÆt seen any thread on ità
IÆm looking for lvl 4 mission Dominix builds that ôincludeö the use of 3 CCC rigs. How do these rigs affect other things on your ship? Typically, to run 2 LAR IIs you need 5 CR II in the mids and some nos in the highs. Can the nos be removed and replaced with guns for more dmg? Can any of the CR IIs be removed and replaced with Omni links, tracking CPUs, AB, etc?
Here is a possible template:
Hi 5x 250mm Rails 1x Drone Link
Mid 5x Cap Recharger IIs
Low 2x LAR II / CPR / 4x Hardeners
Rigs 3x Cap Circuits
Thanks

Edited by: Taipan Gedscho on 22/01/2007 14:43:11 you could actually run the numbers yourself... your capacitor gives you a "peak recharge", when its at about 33%. (same goes for shields)
the formula is (Capacity/recharge time)*2.4 = peak recharge
then you just look what your modules use, add a litte for safety and now you know, if you can permarun stuff.
numbers may vary a LITTLE (i.e. 30% gives peak or multiplier is 2.5) but still are exact enough to base your calculations on.

I'm thinking you could probably ditch the CPR or one of the cap rechargers with the CCCs fitted, maybe more than that. I think you can sustain 2 LARs and 4 hardeners with just the modules you have there, rigs excluded.

Edited by: Taipan Gedscho on 22/01/2007 14:55:54 just took a look at my domi.
with my skills and with 3xCCC rigs: 3cap recharger IIs and a 24%cap relay run both reppers and 4 hardeners nearly forever (may have to turn one off every few minutes for 2 seconds ) -> leaves two medslots
4 cap recharger IIs and a 24% cap relay run both reppers and 4 hardeners forever and youll have spare cap for guns. -> one medslot left

The setup Im usign and the setup I plan to use with rigs:
Highs:3 X anything, 2 salvagers 1 tractor beam
Meds: 5 Cap recharger II
Lows: 2 T2 LAR, 4 Active hardeners, 1 24 % cap
This setup will run hardeners and the 2 LAR's for almost 10(or so) minutes before 1 of the LAR's needs to be turned off to regain a little cap and then back on.
With Rigs:
Highs:3 X anything, 2 salvagers 1 tractor beam
Meds: 5 Cap recharger II
Lows: 2 T2 LAR, 4 Active hardeners, 1 24 % cap
+ 2 CCC, 1 Nano pump for 15% increased repair amount.
This setup will run all of the above permanently and will leave room to switch one of the T2 Cap rechargers off for an AB, or alternatively fit 3 evil railguns in highslots for increased DPS. Or if you face a very hard on DPs mission, switch the low slot cap recharger for an EANM or a DCU.
These two setups have an awesome tank and will, if not blow through missions, then at least sit through them :) Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes, ta! If you would like further details please mail [email protected] - Deckard

Oh why did I have to read this damn thread. Now I have to go buy those expensive rigs and break my piggy bank!
Good posts, I have been debating as to what to fit on my Domi/70s-wood-panelled-spacevan myself. I bet things may change a bit however if the drones rigs start to work properly? ..

Take advantage of the 25% damage bonus to large hybrids and fit dual 250s, a full rack of them. If you are a serious drone user your max drone base range sould be at least 57km, so ditch the drone link.
Put two tracking computers in your mids to allow yourself the option to insta pop incoming frigs with your 250 duals, and also be able to hit orbiting cruisers.
Drop both tech 2 large reps and purchase 1 X-type large rep. Not only will it allow you to tank any mission in the game, but it will free up one low slot and give you more ease at fitting the 250 duals.
Drop the CPR and put a 1600 tung in its place and a mag stab.
Enjoy your new mission eating Dominix.

Thanks for the input. I tested everything last night in QuickFit.
Hi 5x Dual 250mm Prototype Rails 1x Tractor Beam
Mid 2x Tracking Comps / 3x Cap Recharger IIs
Low 2x LAR II / Beta (24%) CPR / 4x T2 Hardeners
Rigs 3x Cap Circuits
With the above setup, I can run everything for about 4-5 minutes before I need shut one of the LARs off. For the harder missions I will probably drop one tracking comp and replace it with another CR II. This will give me enough cap to run everything indefinitely.
It may not be as good as using a large x-type rep, but despite the CCC rigs, this is a really cheap lvl 4 setup.

Does anyone know for a fact whether the Auxiliary Nano Pump (armor rep amount) rig had stacking penalities?
