As usual, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. :)
In a way, I consider EVE a perfect laptop game, and since I've been tempted to buy a laptop for a while, this adds further to the temptation. The problem is that I really don't know much about laptops.
I figure RAM and CPU should be pretty much the same, so if I buy one with a Sempron 64 3400+ CPU and 512 MB of DDR2 RAM, it should run EVE decently (correct me if I'm wrong though!). The crunch part for me is always the graphics - will it be enough or won't it? I hope I can draw on some experience from other people, as far as I can tell a lot of you use laptops.
The one I've got my eye on right now has the aforementioned specs, and the GFX part is a "NVIDIA GeForce GO 6100 integrated Graphics with 64Mb of shared system memory". That memory part doesn't sound very good, so another one I've seen had a "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950". I've never heard of either.
Can somebody help me out?

Alright, nevermind the first one then - what about the other one?

Thanks for your replies so far, I've already saved myself some money there.
Another one I've just seen is an ATI Radeon Express 200. It doesn't say how much memory it has, but it does say it is an "integrated" card. Guess that's no good either then?

Thanks a lot! If other people could tell me which graphics card they have in their laptops, I'd be mighty happy.

Thanks a lot to everyone who replied to this thread, it helped me quite a lot. :)
I've got my eyes set on this one now:
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile technology TL-52 1024Mb DDR2 667 RAM, 667Mhz. 15.4in WXGA high definition brightview display NVIDIA GeFORCE Go 7200 graphics.
I gather from the page I've been linked to that the Geforce Go is dedicated, and 7200 is actually quite good, and I also figure that the Turion is a dual core? Plus, it's got a gigabyte of ram, which I guess should do nicely. :)
