Been trying to find out what's the best T2 heavy drone all around.
These are the two I could boil it down to.
So what's the pro's and cons:
Berserker II
- Faster
- Better tracking
- Higher orbit velocity (not sure if this is a pro or a con? higher orbit velocity = worse tracking?)
Ogre II
- Higher damage mod (by quite a margin)
So basicly, the berserker gets there faster, can follow faster targets, and track better wich makes it better in hitting smaller targets.
The ogre has a better DPS on larger targets when it makes its way over there.
That's my view on the thing, what would you guys classify as the one on top?

I was thinking of this very thing, but with what drones a Moros should use.
Most people armor tank or speed tank in pvp, so I would go with the Berserker IIs. With the recent nano fad, having faster drones and better tracking on them is always good.

Gotta also consider dmg type, bersekers are sorta standart on laser boats and quite common with blasterboats.

With the Moros bonuses, it doesn't really matter which drones you use. For lack of something else we are using Praetor-II's (never looked at stats but they do EM i think), and with dread lvl 4 they ripped throug a curse in approximatly 12 seconds,

Yup I use ogre II's because I carebear.. Berserker II's are the way to go for most pvp-ers, the incredible speed difference is the deciding factor tho, cos the ogre does do more dmg, I think it tends to get criticals more often (orbit thing i guess)..
All the stuff above does not necessarily reflect my corp, my alliance or even me..

In my opinion, the quality of the drone, depends on where u use it.
Example:
if u r pirating up North, where all npcers tank Kinetic and Thermal, will be better to use Em or Explosive drones...

For me its berserkers for pvp unless its a t2 amarr ship.
Ogres for npcing.

I prefer berserkers. They are faster, have better tracking, and do probably more damage on average against a mix of ships. Against someone with an explosive hardener they do somewhat less damage than Ogres but they get there faster, start hitting sooner, can be used more effectively vs. cruisers, and are oh-so-sweet when you find a target without explosive resists.

imho there is no "better" for anything in this game. it all depends on what your fighting and how you use them. if your gonna be fighting smaller ships, sure the Berserkers are gonna be better, but if your fighting battleships and up, Ogers are gonna make a much bigger impact on your DPS. And you also got to take in the factor of your targets ressists.
how much damage your drones are ment to do has nothign to do with how much damage they will do. The 2 factors you got to look into are will your drones hit the target and how damage of your drones damage will be resissted. Its all a matter of planing on how to take out your opponent.
But I like Ogers more

I'm Gallente therefore I use Ogre II's 
But aside from that, they hit like a freight train, and if you're already on top of the target the speed isn't really an issue.

48km base range[needs sharpshooter IV], decent enough damage[>tech1 heavies, almost as much as bezerker IIs], and instant damage to 50+25KM.
No travel time so if you need to book just scoop them up and leave.

Every time people use those, I laugh at them, since they can't track my vaga at 40km with MWD on or off.
Sentry drones are only good on paper, in reality, in most PvP situations they're completely useless.
And for NPCing, well... they can't track **** either, large t2 heavies have no problem killing npc FRIGS.

dude your soo full of ****e or your drone skills suck. I use gardes all the time to npc, infact with 2 omni-directional tracking links my ogre2 hit even the frigs.
As for pvp.. ive pvped against corp mates and i hit approx 100dmg per shot / drone at 30km. You aint using them right.

Ogre II:s are so popular that a lot of people know to fit an extra thermic hardener (OK well I didn't and lost a Zealot but that's because I'm a nub ) so I'd actually go with Berserker II:s. I think they're a bit cheaper too if my memory serves me correct.
