You are the cancer that is killing Eve. He just plays eve-offline. That is another game than the one we are playing. It may be that loosers in real life can't take it anymore in eve. They have the compelling need to win... wiiin... WIIIIIIN. I didn't ever log off at gatecamps or when i was in a no-win situation. As a young character, i lost my battleship and didn't have the money to fit one again. I learned to insure, never fly what i can't replace, use map/intel, watch local, use safespots, scout and not to ask for help in 3 channels instead of shooting my guns (yeah, i did that and i regret it). I enjoy the rush when fighting. I don't mind if i loose. I don't find my e-peen shrinking. Although, after reading this i am considering the possibility of logging when being at a safespot. But dunno if i'll use it, still considering (chances are that i won't). What would i think if a player would just log when loosing the battle against me? Well, i would consider that i won. No hard feelings. I don't need that killmail so hard. I would be satisfied nevertheless. It's just a game. I am doing it for my pleasure. I am happy that I find that available without resorting to stupid tactics. Oh, i will train for scanning. That undoubtly will increase the fun factor. Maybe the "losers in real life" are the ones that feel the other players should be glad that they've been victimized. Do you really have to prove that yours is bigger than mine? This IS an open ended game isn't it? Why are you all so concerned about the way that I and others play it? You want us to play it your way. We want you to play it ours. Who's right? Who's wrong? Anyway, like you said, it's just a game. Right? I'm more interested in what kind of setups people are using to play the game. Hmm? Is there a topic like that?
