Good evening,
As some of you may know, I am a historian of Eve 0.0 alliance events, normally I record the events which occur, conduct interviews and witness events for my own interest and that of a small number of pilots with an academic interest in the complex history of eve.
However, with thepcoming conflict in the north between D2 / Allies & BoB / Allies, I flet it was perhaps time to make my daily journal available to the public. Wars on this scale often degenerate into propoganda and disinformation, making it difficult for the wider community to follow events. The Journal I write is based upon first hand accounts from pilots on both sides of the conflict and I record a balanced history. I use the blog methodology to allow others to make comments in which they may question that accuracy and balance or add thier own stories and information.

Outbreak is the name of the corporation D2 moved against today. We are not an alliance, and our name is not TOXIN - thats our ticker.

Thanks for the clarification on the Toxin naming convention... Northern pilots actually refer to your corp as Toxin in day to day converstaion, not outbreak. Hence the mistake in the naming convention!

Although you should fix this...

BoB didn't "remove" RISE, BoB offered RISE a nice chunk of space down south for rent, and RISE moved to Feyth from Outer Ring. Your statement reflects a conflict rather than a mutually benefitial region swap between two alliances on friendly terms.

Who's to say that the war won't be fought south in BoB space?
Or do we allready assume that D2 & friends couldn't possibly take the fight south?

As a former Rise member, I have to point out one thing. Rise, at the time before we were offered the deal, were not on friendly terms with either BoB or D2. The way we stood was a "kill them all and let CCP sort them out" mentality. Sure, we may have been in the path of a potential BoB invasion route, but we weren't going to be a friend to D2 either. (note: this is speaking from a grunt's perspective and I certainly didn't know the inner workings. sorry if I speak out of ignorance. also obviously the perspective has changed since then.)
