it was just so user friendly, there was nothing wrong with it.

Oh yes /signed!
The new systemmap is awesome to see probing results (well it is still too big sometimes), but for quick directional scan or choosing an object to warp to or getting an overview how a system looks the minimap on the scanner is very much needed.
I could live with it if the minimap had its own (resizeable) window instead of the explorer bar clustering up 1/4th of my screen each time I need it, but since it is mostly used for directional scanning why not put it back there?

Any ideas why it was taken out in the first place?
Finding anyone is a total pain in the ass now unless they're sat outside a station, and even then you can't scan for stations anyway ------------

though i cant understand why we cant at least do custom GUI's, many other MMO's do that nowadays...and to be honest it might really freshen up the game for a lot of ppl...some like large cluttered lots of info GUI's, i myself am a minimalist

Putting /signed is NOT spamming. It's well inline with the threads focus to get CCP to act.
(And yes support this thread)
Giving people access to powers seems to release the worst part of people. Just cause they can censor you means they will do so for every single violation.
Expact threads in the future to look like: *snippety snip snip *snippety snip snip snip snip snippety snip*
