No offence, but lag at the moment is basically making fleet ops unplayable.
Gang invites for fleet started timing out at 60 pilots, as soon as a 60-man BoB fleet jumps in, pilots start dropping everywhere and people start getting bugged.
I spent 5 minutes looking at a gate whilst a battle was going on around me.
WHY THE HELL CAN CCP SUPPORT 700 PILOTS IN JITA, BUT THE NODE ****S ITSELF AS SOON AS 100+ PILOTS ARE IN A 0.0 SYSTEM.*
*I know the answer to this, load balancing and pre-set limits. But still, it's taking the ****.

CYVOK: Actually I think we won the battle I was just on about.
But in principle I agree. Fleets and all these patches were designed to reduce lag. Back when I started PvP 100v100 seemed a lot smoother.

It's unfortunate... fleet battles are rarely arranged in the fashion of "behind the bike shed after school", so it's really unviable for fleets to contact CCP on a Sunday and expect them to do anything about it.
