You do not pvp too much, do you? You can't use guerilla tactic when you are trapped between two blobs each owerwhelming you in 1:10 proportion (it's not exaggerated number) and entranched around large bubbles. And with current state of affairs this will happen to us. At least with NAP one of those blobs will be blue.
We fight in empire where FIX and MC are (that's why we decced them) and we fight in 0.0 where we need NAP to be able to operate during this war.

What "big pew pew" are you talking about? We are small alliance. We have no chance in direct POS warfare with IRON/D2/BOB simply because we will be totally outblobbed. Only thing we can do is to fight them in empire or do guerilla warfare in 0.0.

Yeah, I can believe you can do this stunt if you fight State War Academy. Try this against any decent pvp gang and you will die.

Edit - im referring to before the ragoon coalition that is present atm.
It all depends on who is attacking you. We defended POS in EC from ISS fleet and killed some of their dreads. But we can't match Iron capital fleet. So please give up with bull**** like: put large POS in the middle of north and defend it with 50 people. If it would be so simple you would not bring at north MC/FIX/whoever else and freighters full of POSes.

Actually it's both. We are efficient enough to cause trouble at north (terrorize is too big word I think) and at the same size we are small enough to not be able to fight in POS wars against all north. Remember we was -10 to ALL northern alliances so as far as it's possible to make raids into their territory it's NOT possible to claim any space there nor to put POS.

As far as I know D2 was fighting ISS in EC not us. At the same time we had a war in empire with D2. You can check stats on our killboard or D2 killboard. What table scraps are you talking about? We get no money from D2, we get no systems from D2, we get no ships, no ammo. We are not their pets. You should stop apply southern standards to northern alliances.

You can play EVE in many ways. Maybe they want to build so many Titans that they can phisicly block gate in EC with them or buy every each of tech2 BPO or earn enough money to show everyone that MC actually CAN be hired against BOB. Who knows?
My personal bet is they are BOB alts and they need money to fund their invasion at north.
