 I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the point/usefulness/use of the leadership skills, I've seen them on the market and was wondering what they were.

 Depending on how heavily you train your skills, you can offer your fleet or squadron huge bonuses. One example is mining. You can give miners a 29% ore yield increase with the right implant, skill, and module.

 I'm a mining leadership geared skilltree with the Mindlink...
 
 and I'd love to find out how you got that above 22.5% bonus for mining yield...

 Think he's also including the 15% mining foreman bonus in the 22.5% cycle time bonus. Not really sure what that does to the yield per hour does, but it should work out nicely.

 The math is in Halada's (sp?) guide. It's all there with explanation of everything. The guide is stickied under the starships and stations forum.

 I cannot view PDF files from work. Would anyone care to cut/paste edit the relevant info explaining the larger than 22.5% yeild bonus?
 
 As far as I have ever understood about leadership bonus', the maximum bonus (with mind link and full skills) is 22.5% (unless you fly a comand ship which has an inherent bonus to a certain branch of leadership (seige int he case of Amarr, etc)
 
 I'd like to see the math on the higher than 22.5% mining yeidl...because I have all the skills and mindlink so I should be getting it, and last time I weorked it out it was 22.5%.

 I always thought 22.5 was the max for mining, which included the mindlink. But I could be wrong.

 Here is the way I understand it:
 Mining Foreman 5 = 10% yield bonus (15% with implant)
 Mining Director bonus = 15% cycle time bonus (22.5% with implant)
 
 3 different situations:
 Fully skilled miner in a Harbinger (7 tech 2 miners)
 60 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 7 = 565.25 m3/min or 39375 m3/hr
 
 Fully skilled miner with mining foreman 5 and implant
 60 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.15 * 7 = 754.6875 m3/min or 45281.25 m3/hr (15% yeild bonus)
 
 Fully skilled miner with director 5/implant/gang module
 60 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.15 * 7 = 754.6875 m3
 60sec * .775 = 46.5 sec
 or
 754.6875 m3/46.5 sec
 or
 973.79 m3/min = 58427.42 m3/hr (29% yield bonus over mining foreman alone)
 
 Total the yield bonus per hour is approximately 73% have all relevant gang skills maxed out.
